Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering is a two-year full-time course offered at the National Institute of Technology Goa.

The M. Tech. programme in Computer Science and Engineering is aimed at preparing Computer professionals for research, academics, design and development in hardware, software and co-design technologies. The purpose of the programme is to generate human resource capable of supporting Research and Development activities in critical areas of computer science and engineering. The programme focuses on practical implementations of the ideas by means of research oriented projects and courses in collaboration with the industries to bring in acclaimed professionals to share their knowledge and experience. The Post graduate programme offers an opportunity to work on latest research topics in Computer Science and Engineering

To provide students with a strong foundation in Computer Science & Engineering to formulate, solve and analyze engineering problems and to prepare them for graduate studies, R&D and consultancy.
Students will establish themselves as effective professionals by solving real problems through the use of computer science knowledge.
To provide exposure to emerging cutting edge technologies, adequate training & opportunities to work as teams on multidisciplinary projects with effective communication skills and leadership qualities.

Eligibility Criteria

In qualifying degree, the candidates should have passed and secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for OC/OB, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates. The above-mentioned CGPA/Percentage should be awarded by a recognized University/Institute.

Admission Details

M.Tech Programme, the Institute admits students through valid GATE score followed by CCMT (Centralized Counselling for M.Tech Admissions).

College Infrastructure

Our college has well developed and large infrastructure. Every department has their laboratories and machines. Campus is fully equipped with Wi-Fi. Every department has library also. It is situated at very quite place.

College Infrastructure

College has well developed infrastructure. College has all required facilities. Campus is fully equipped with high speed wifi. All the department are equipped with the laboratory equipment and all the equipment are updated.
