Founded in compliance with the National Law School of India Act (Karnataka Act 22 of 1986), National Law School of India University Bangalore was established in 1986. NLSIU Bangalore offers courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Some of the key highlights of NLSIU are given below.
For admission to NLSIU, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria and appear for the entrance examination. As per the NLSIU Bangalore LLB admission process, candidates must qualify for the NLSAT LLB. Admissions to NLSIU Bangalore courses are through CLAT scores. For NLSIU Bangalore LLM programmes, CLAT PG scores are considered. Likewise, NLSAT-Ph.D scores are considered for NLSIU Bangalore PhD admissions.
Fees of NLSIU Bangalore 2026-27 for the BA LLB programme is Rs 4,51,000. NLSIU Bangalore fees for LLM for 2026-27 is 5,06,400 and MPP fees are also the same. The college infrastructure is good and provide all the facilities and equipments to the students. The classroom and campus is well maintained. The food is hygienic and well prepared and students just loved it.
College has all the facilities, infrastructure and equipments as per the requirements of students. Well maintained classrooms labs and canteen are hygienic and tidyness.We also have hostels , libraries.
Nlsiu has the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. Classrooms facilities are well-maintained and used with all the living spaces being clean but the food hygiene might not be good sometimes
NLSIU is one of the best law colleges in India for the 3-year LLB. It offers great placement opportunities as well. Candidates can pursue a regular 3-year LLB course with CS articleship; however, it is not recommended. It is challenging to manage regular college with articleship. Students are also required
