24 MonthsThis programme provides both theoretical and experimental physics viz. x-ray diffraction, polymer physics, plasma physics, experimental and theoretical nuclear physics, liquid crystal, solid state ionic, electronic filters, mathematical physics, semiconductor physics and superconductivity. This is a two year course. The degree is provided by North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology.

Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed the B.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics with 55% marks in aggregate (Pass Course) and 50% marks in major/honours subject. 5% marks relaxation will be given to SC/ST/PWD Category.
Admission Details
- The candidates with valid GATE score will be given admission in this programme.
- Written Test will be conducted for the candidates who don’t have a valid GATE score.
- Selected candidates will have to appear for counselling.
