Eligibility Criteria

The students studying B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc (Physics) or B.Sc (in any science subject) are eligible for this course. Those who are seeking to achieve excellence in their undergraduate class may decide to register for this training course. This could include students who are undergraduates from colleges across India. There are no prerequisites mandatory to enrol for this online course by Swayam NPTEL.

Education

The students registering for Experimental Physics I certification course by Swayam NPTEL need to be undergraduates studying B.E., B.Tech., or B.Sc in Physics, science, engineering, or technology. These are candidates who will be dealing with instruments at some point of time in their career or profession.

Certification Qualifying Details

In the written test, the scoring is as follows: the Average assignment score is considered to be 25 percent of the average of the best 8 assignments out of the total 12 assignments given in the course. The Exam score will be taken as 75 percent of the proctored certification exam score out of 100.

The final score will be calculated as the total of the average assignment score and the exam score. You will be eligible for an e-certificate only if the average assignment score is greater than or equal to 10 on 25 and the exam score is greater than or equal to 30 on 75.

If one of the two criteria is not met, the certificate will not be issued, although the final score may be greater than or equal to 40 on 100.
