As i am studying here from last 3 years in EE department ,in my dept. courses are leaded by HoD to create a sound understanding of technical and theoritical skills among us, apart from other colleges here faculty are highly committed to personal support and care to every individual, although this institute is newly establised by govt of india and inspite of scarcity of resources institute has a good reputation ,many of the alumni from EE are working as senior engg. in leading firms like ,L&T,powergrid

Hey, guys. I am currently a third-year student at Nit Arunachal Pradesh. If u really are a good student and wanna study seriously. Never come. To this place…worst place to learn anything… Specially EE department… Department contains third class tribal teachers. Whose job is not to teach rather earn money ..…They have zero grade mentality but still surge as an assistant professor in the institution of national importance

I got 87.47 percentile in January mains 2020 in EWS category will I get any NITs

Harsha Sinha 27th Apr, 2020

Hi there,

Since you belong to ews category, then you have very less chances of getting into nits, although you can get a seat in the eastern nits which are ranked low....

So I would recommend you to give April mains and try to score more than 94+ percentile.

I hope this help

If Im offered a seat in a college in the first round itself of Josaa, then will I be offered the same for other rounds provided that the seats are empty in the college?

Shubham Dhane 26th Feb, 2020

Hello,

If you choose to slide your seat which is alloted to you in the first round you can participate in the subsequent round which implies you will be alloted a seat in an academic course of better or higher preference within the same institute and you will accept it.

It depends on choice of your preferences and vacancies available. If there are vacant seat available in the preferred courses then you will get a seat if you choose sliding in round 1 seat allotment.

Swati Umang 23rd Feb, 2020

Hello! Hope you are doing good

Your rank according to the mentioned percentile is 86,901. Its a bit difficult to get the college with this rank. However, cutoffs are subject to variation so it may vary this year too lets hope for the best.

On top of that, you still have the april chance , give your best and prepare well. You'll definitely do good.

All the best

I am a b.tech final year student from Electrical Engineering . My c.g.p.a is 7.2 Am I get a chance for take admission in NIT or IIT without Gate2020?

Sourandhi saha Student Expert 7th Feb, 2020
It is not at all possible. If you are from any CFTIs having more than 8 CGPA, then going through screening test and interview you can get into the campus. Otherwise, GATE is the only way for engineers to get a seat in IITs or NITs. Some of the NITs do consider non GATE students by the following criteria- part time, sponsored and self sponsored candidates without stipend.
