Your class 12th percentage score is quite high but entrance marks are comparatively a little low. To get admission under defense category also you need a minimum of aggregate of 62-63%. The admission in PU UG LLB is on the basis of merit of class 12th and entrance exam. Your class 12th marks are very high and entrance score is average. If you belong to general category there are low chances for your selection in the main campus of UILS at Chandigarh but you can get admission in the regional centers.

Yes on the basis of your score there are chances that you can get admission under BA LLB course in the main campus of University Institute of Legal Studies at PU in Chandigarh under the quota for defense category. The cut off for defense category usually goes down to 63-64% under the BA LLB ( hons.) course.

Every year the Punjab University conducts the law entrance exam for BA LLB for the 5 year integrated courses. The PU BA LLB entrance question paper is a mix of questions from topics such as general knowledge, current affairs, verbal ability, quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning.
PU 5year Law Eligibility:
50% weightage is given to the marks scored by the candidates in the PU BA LLB Entrance Exam in addition to the marks scored in 10+2 Examinations. An aspirant must score a minimum of 50% in 10+2 to be eligible to take the PU law after the +2 exam.
An aspirant who scores a higher percentage of marks in the PU Law after the +2 entrance exam shall be ranked higher in the merit list for admission to the PU BA LLB.
When 2 or more candidates secure equal marks in the PU Law after +2 entrance exam as well as the 10+2 exams, then the candidate higher in age shall be ranked higher in order to merit.
For general category minimum marks required to get in PUBALLB is 15 that is 20 percentage.

If you can appear for the 1st PU examination then you may not get promoted to the 2nd PU so it can be a problem for you. Now as pandemic is going on, if you have medical grounds then you can show problems and disorders which is unavoidable then you college may consider.

Congratulations! 84% is a good score. In order to apply in Punjab University minimum 50% marks are required. However, to get into most courses minimum 80% is required. You will most probably be able to get into one or the other course with your score. As far as Defence quota is concerned total 5% seats are reserved for the following:
1. Sons/Daughters/Spouses of such defence personnel, para-military personnel like CRPF/BSF, Police personnel etc. who died in action while on duty. In this case only those who were completely dependent on such personnel will be considered.
2. Sons/Daughters/Spouses who are wholly dependent on Defence Personnel who were incapacitated/died while in service.
3. Sons/ Daughters/ spouses of ex-servicemen who were wholly dependent on them.
4. Defence personnel incapacitated while in service.
5. Sons/ Daughters/ Spouses of of serving defence personnel and para-military personnel like CRPF/BSF etc. who are completely dependent on them.
6. Ex- servicemen.
7. Serving defence personnel/ paramilitary personnel like CRPF/BSF etc.
