Academics is good and very positive. Academics helps you in every position way to achive you your goals and support you in your every decision and helps you in your ideas or projects with funds tools and more.
College Infra
College infrastructure is good. There is lust green campus you can see and enjoy fresh air. College campus is full of positivity and very good for consentration. Hostels and students activity centres are good
Campus Life
Campus life is calm and enjoyable.
Placements
Placements rates are high. You can get placements very easily. There is 95 % placement in mechanical department. Very companies comes in college for placements and takes students in bulk and placements are good.
Value For Money
Fees of college is very cheap.

Teachers explain concepts clearly and are approachable outside class too. The curriculum feels relevant and pushes us to apply knowledge practically, making learning both useful and interesting. Also have doubt sessions
College Infra
The college maintains neat classrooms, modern labs, and a library that genuinely helps with projects. Also there is Wi-Fi facility across campus, and the overall atmosphere feels productive and comfortable
Campus Life
There’s always something happening here—fests, clubs, or sports activities, guest lectures. The campus feels lively and interactive, and it’s easy to find the right balance between studies and fun with friends.
Placements
Placement drives are encouraging, with many reputed companies visiting each year. The training sessions and workshops boost confidence, and the guidance we get makes the job search less stressful. Mock interviews also scheduled

Courses span core engineering disciplines (CSE, ECE, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Food Tech, Instrumentation) and postgraduate/PhD programs
College Infra
Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) boasts a sprawling 451-acre green campus with well-maintained academic blocks, smart classrooms, and fully equipped departmental labs. The central library is modern and offers rich digital resources. Hostel facilities are ample, with 10 for boys and 4 for girls, along with Wi-Fi, mess, and recreational areas. Sports infrastructure includes fields, courts, gym, and a swimming pool. The campus also houses a health centre, shopping complex, and student activity centre. While the campus is scenic and peaceful, its remote location and limited internet bandwidth are minor drawbacks. Overall, infrastructure is excellent and student-friendly.

For lateral entry in SLIET, admission can be taken after completing a diploma course. For lateral entry, no exam is required . However, as per the admission policy, admission is given through vertical promotion.
