I am pursuing B.Tech in GIN, and the curriculum is thoroughly updated to meet contemporary industry standards. The faculty members are highly qualified, approachable, and possess deep domain expertise. They emphasize practical learning over rote memorization. Term exams are conducted strictly on schedule; while they are challenging enough to test our conceptual understanding, the fair grading system and supportive professors make it manageable to secure a good CGPA.
College Infra
The infrastructure of sliet is highly commendable. The campus is equipped with spacious, well-ventilated classrooms and modern, air-conditioned laboratories specialized for every branch . The central library boasts a massive collection of academic journals, reference books, and digital resources. Wi-Fi connectivity is seamless across the academic blocks. The hostel facilities are clean, offering decent mess food with a focus on hygiene. Medical facilities and sports grounds for football, cricket, and indoor games are well maintained.
Campus Life
Campus life here is vibrant and inclusive. The annual college fest, Tech fest, or just "our MADHURAM", is the biggest highlight of the year, drawing participation from various universities. There are numerous student-run clubs ranging from technical coding societies to photography and drama clubs. The campus environment is entirely safe, ragging-free, and fosters great peer-to-peer collaboration. The location is also well-connected by public transport.
Placements
The placement cell at SLIET is extremely proactive. Approximately [e.g., 80-85%] of students secure placements annually.
