My best experience to enter on this university
1.Yes, my college has all the necessary, infrastructure, facilities and equipment. 2.Smart Boards, All cricket equipments, footballs, wifi, all laboratory equipment.yes all are used and not that much maintained. 3.yes the living spaces clean and the food is little bit hygienic.
1.I am studying bsc agriculture & I want to be Agriculture field officer(AEO) 2.yes my curriculum is updated & includes all the recent developments in the field. Yes my study makes me to some extent job ready.
1.The quality of placements at my college is not too good. 2.Almost 10%. 50k-70k Farm manager Afo Assistant 3.yes the average salary was offered. No placement process is not easy and pleasant for me. Yes my college was supportive.
1.1 lakh 20k 2.No i don't feel I am getting my money's worth because posts are not released in agriculture field since 2013 and I am very much worri about my future and I thought very much about my parents hopes.
1.Best features--supportive,all facilities are present including sports, Library, water supply and electricity supply. The students are engaged in playing games(cricket, football, chesh). 2.The students, teachers and support staff like cleaness drive, maintaing discipline. It's location is good. Yes it is safe. Yes it handle emergency
Yes, i want to add that this college is good in accordance to facilities(hostel, library, staff) But the problem is there is more saturation of students and no job vacancy.
Very nice infrastructure particular the smart class rooms.. and library, which provide vast space to study. But the hostel infrastructure needs to be reviewed especially the bathrooms and all. But overall is ????
Our honorable teacher are very knowledgeable. And delivery a post vibe in class rooms. But unfortunately some students are not taking classes regularly which sometimes makes lectures little boring....
My cousin had study from this collage and now he is doing great. He is marketing manager of BAYER. He is my idol and I follow his footsteps. His friend had also passed out from this collage and they are also doing great.. their packages are 15 lakh+
If I talk about my fee I believe my course fee is higher than normal. Which sometimes put me in the worry. Fee should be brought down so that money can't become barrier in between the studys............
Our college campus is beautiful. It has the best location. Not too much crowded. It is situated in a village away from city noise and traffic horns.but electricity becomes the matter of discussion. Electricity shutdown is the real concern in the campus. Which effect the study of students especially students residing in the hostel
There is unavalibilty of wifi and network also thus we face difficulty here . And also the water is not suitable enough to drink as we can get sick snd can have severe infections . Also we face difficulty in library as there is not 24*7 library there and we face a lot of difficultyduring our exams .
Good teachers and faculty providing good material for national exam staff is always available always thay are toof friendly and supportive friendly felleing us loke at home providing every kind of support
not enough for jand k student 30% but best for other j and k students talking about govt sector there are very much oppurtinity for varios national posts like afo icar jrf etc all over world is also best for agriculture sector rank of this agricultural university is 7 th
very important
best
best
College infrastructure is good providing all necessary facilities but poor in providing good water and other necessary equipment s for studying, not providing wifi, bathroom cleaness is poor but location is best
The ecosystem with faculty is weety and the nature of academic sets have been very good with us and they are supportive with us They have been there in our lows with us So i can definitely say there is great going with Academic blocks
As there is no possible placements in private sector for Kashmiri or state students Even though rest of the country have good possible ways in private sector And same is in the case with govt sector
Very good infrastructure with all facilities which are required for better studies are available such as well ventilated smart class rooms, laboratories, library, study rooms, auditorium, gym, bank, sports ground etc. Hostel infrastructure is not very much good but sufficient well cleaned and hygienic.
Currently iam doing ug in agriculture hons and all the teaching staff is well experienced and have lot of practical knowledge with them which makes students to understand better. Also the course curriculum is well updated and meet all the requirements of this competitive world.
Placement opportunities are less but few students manage to grab in agricultural and horticultural projects along with in some private companies. Placement process is done through exam and interview fairly.
The fees for the course per year is 37000 without hostel as for government seat For self finance seat the fees is 67000/yr Hostel fee is 18000/yr. According to infrastructure and clean environment along with quality education the above mentioned money is worth of it.
Campus Life specially hostel Life is very good. All the fellow students are very cooperative, helpful and of caring nature which makes the campus Life more better. With all positive features some negative features are also there such as more distance from major cities which restricts the fulfillment of important necessities and also electricity facilities are not upto mark.
Over all infrastructure which is required in the college is present and is in good condition. Smart class room, laboratory, auditorium, cafeteria, bank, gym etc are available. A large sports group is also available where different sports are played. Indoor sports space is also available. In hostel and classroom wifi facility is also present.
Iam doing graduation in Agriculture hons as iam from agriculture background and loving and enjoying this course along with studying. The curriculum of the course is also in relation with the requirements of farmers. After studying honestly one can secure a good job at central as well as state government.
Placement is done in agricultural projects and various private companies such as qul fruits but there are not much placement opportunities are available. Very few students get placement and get about 40000/month salary.
Yes this course is value for money when we see the infrastructure, education quality and also the ranking of college in NIRF criteria. I feel iam spending my money at good place. The course require various field visit where lot of expenses are covered by college.
Campus life is awesome as the campus area is very beautiful and safe. The professors are very caring and helpful and also the fellow students are welcoming and caring. The college is located far awar from the sounds of vehicles which make it very healthy.
All the necessary facilities in this college are available such as laboratory, smart classes, auditorium, sports ground, cafeteria, bank , hostel etc. Wifi facility is also available in hostels and academic class rooms. Living space of hostel is near and clean.
My course here is BSc agriculture hons and iam enjoying this course as it is practical orientated which make this course more enjoyable along with knowledge. The curriculum is up todate and contain all the recent updates which is required in real world.
Placement percentage is low at about 10- 15% and the students who got placement are in agricultural projects, private ventures etc. The placed students get atleast 35000/ month and the placement process is competitive but easy.
Keeping in mind the infrastructure, quality education and experienced faculties I can say this course is value for money. The course fee is 37000/yr without hostel fee but it can vary with self finance seat. Hostel fee is 18000/yr.
The best thing about this campus is that it contains study environment along with healthy and clean environment. The faculty members and students are very helpful and of caring nature. The negative thing about this college is that it very far from major cities and have less electricity facility.
The college have good infrastructure such as smart class rooms for teaching, big library having all the required books along with study room, cafeteria and bank also present inside the campus, a large ground for sports activities. There are various labs are there for practical purposes Hostel facility is also available and the hostel rooms are in good condition along with wifi facility.
Currently iam doing Bsc Agriculture (Hons) because i love this subject as this subject is mostly practical oriented which make it more enthusiastic. All the faculties are well experienced and their way of teaching is awesome and are very helpful in doubt solving. The curriculum is also updated and is designed as per the need of the current era which makes students able to compete for real world situations.
Placement opportunities are less but available with different private ventures. Only 20% get placement in agricultural projects and other departments such as pathology having salary of about Rs 30,000/yr. The placement process is easy and fair.
Bsc Agriculture (Hons) course cost per year is Rs 37,000. If you opt for hostel facility then it will be extra 18000 you have yo pay. I feel this course fee is good as compare to quality of education and good infrastructure.
Best features of colege: This college has good NIRF ranking and also providing quality education. Good infrastructure along with sports ground, bank facility, cafeteria etc College faculties are very helpful. Health facility is good such as health centre inside college, ambulance facility is available. Negative features: Hostel infrastructure is not too much good. Electric facility is poor. Too much far from major Cities there for problem in acquiring essential items.
SO talking about our college faculty of agriculture wadura , the infrastructure is up to the mark all the basic necessities are fulfilled for all the students and all the facilities are easily available.
I am in 2nd year and so far teaching has been so good and has been quite helpful and up to date , Things have been very easy for all and quite important to us . Quality of teaching is soo good and has made every confident
Quality of placement is so good but so far I haven't seen anyone getting some placement so I won't judge might be I'll get the placement until my time . I guess that too wont be possible but let's just see
I pay 60k per semester so let's not talk about that part , and have to pay it for 4 years apart from that you have to pay other finances too so let's just get it straight it's a lot of money to be spent on a degree like agriculture
Campus life hasn't done any good to me, So far my life hasn't been so easy here but I have had good friends around and have been cheering around and together we have been enjoying we have a lot of things to cherish.
The exact cost for a private seat in SKUAST (Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology) depends on several factors:
There are two campuses of SKUAST - Jammu and Kashmir. The fee structure might differ slightly between the two. The cost can vary depending on the specific program you choose (B.Sc., B.Tech., B.V.Sc. & A.H).
