(RS & GIS) course is to provide in-depth understanding of remote sensing, satellite image analysis, Geographic Information System (GIS) and GPS technologies and their applications in natural resources survey and monitoring including agriculture and soils, forestry and ecology, geology and mineral resources, water resources, marine resources, urban and regional planning, atmospheric studies and disaster management.
Eligibility Criteria
B.E / B.Tech. in Civil, Civil Engineering with Computer Applications, Civil Infrastructure Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Geo Informatics, CSE, EEE, ECE, IT, Agricultural Engineering, Urban & Regional Planning, B.Sc. (Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture), M.Sc./M.A. (Geology, Applied Geology, Geophysics, Geography, Geo Informatics, Physics, Maths, Oceanography, Environmental Science, Atmospheric Sciences, Soil Sciences, Computer Applications, Disaster Management) (or) its equivalent degree in the above Disciplines with a minimum aggregate of 50%
