The college infrastructure is great, the faculty is not bad. My department faculty is very helpful and nice but when it comes to teaching not every professor meets the mark. Organization is poor, we don't get proper holiday schedules, we get exam timetables a week before exams, holidays are very less. There is no atmosphere of "college life", there are few to no events organized for the degree courses. Labs are okay, practicals are carried out properly. Very affordable, that's the only silver lining. If you want to enjoy your time at Chettinad, you'll have to do it yourself and with a lot of determination. There are no competitions or clubs anything. The college festival is every two years. There is a lot of bias between degree and medical courses due to different fee structures.

Hi I did my MBBS here. Currently in internship. I love my college for its infrastructure has it as world class equipment for investigations and luxury and comfort .. We have a good number of food courts and cafeterias which are very nominal .. We have a general hospital which is epic and span and a corporate sector which is posh .. Hostel is a boon and a bane .. Boon in the sense its spacious, neat , clean restrooms , air condition , with a swimming pool , basketball , tennis , volleyball courts separate for hosteller. Bane in the sense . It's highly secured with access cards on entry and exit and timings . On the whole, the campus is going green campus only cycles allowed and highly secured at all exits with biometric system . Everything is nice. We have 400mt turf track and have separate indoor badminton , tt , basketball courts and outdoor football , futsal , cricket , tennis , basketball , throw ball , volleyball , kho kho . For the sports side . We also have a 1500 capacity auditorium with Asia's best acoustics . On the whole, it's a good institution to learn and spend college life . One thing it has a moderate patient inflow .. If it's improved it. Could easily challenge any medical college in the country .
