St Joseph's University, Bengaluru Facilities

St Joseph's College, Bangalore has provided certain facilities to the students and faculty members of the institute including classrooms, sports, auditorium, laboratories, hostels, library etc. Detailed description about all the facilities provided by the institute are mentioned below.

Classrooms- All the classrooms of St Joseph's College, Bangalore are well equipped with all modern facilities including LCD projector and speakers so that students can get advanced technology education from eminent professors.
Sports facilities- Various sports facilities are provided by St Joseph's College, Bangalore for the students. Various playgrounds for playing cricket, volleyball, kho-kho, kabaddi, track and field events. Other indoor games facilities like carrom, chess, badminton etc are also provided by the Institute.
Auditorium- The auditorium is well equipped with speakers and projectors where all events and fests are conducted with a seating capacity of 1200 people.
Canteen- St Joseph's College, Bangalore also has a canteen inside the campus which serves snacks, beverages and other food items to students and other members. All the food items are fresh and hygienic and students can get all snacks and food items at affordable prices.
Laboratories- St Joseph's College, Bangalore has provided labs for different subjects for conducting practical experiments and students to do their project works. All the labs are well organised and equipped with necessary equipment. Lab technicians are also there to guide and help students.
Hostels- St Joseph's College, Bangalore provides separate hostels to boys and girls. Students have to fill the application forms for hostels separately and rooms are allotted based on the availability. All the hostel rooms are provided with basic furniture and facilities. Mess facilities are also available for hostellers which serves good quality and hygienic food to students.
Library- The UG library has a collection of 81,717 books, 33 journals, 39 periodicals and 14 newspapers and the PG library is stocked with a collection of 9872 books, 21 journals, 11 periodicals and 10 newspapers. The library timings are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on all working days and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on vacations. Other photocopying facilities are also available inside the library.

Boys Hostel
St. Joseph’s College Hostel in Bengaluru has magnificently designed hostel for men with all necessary amenities for boarding and other recreational activities. The hostel has its own Canteen to provide healthy and hygienic food to the students. The Canteen is maintained on a co-operative basis.
Library
St. Joseph’s College Library is one of the oldest private govt. aided autonomous degree college libraries in Bengaluru. It is one of the well-stocked college libraries. It regularly subscribes to seventy-two international and national journals, magazines and fourteen daily newspapers. It caters to the needs of more than 4,500 undergraduate, postgraduate and research level staff & students. The library is fully automated, has a spacious reading hall and can accommodate one hundred users at any point in time.
Sports
The College has dynamic teams for cricket, football, basketball, throw ball, table tennis. The college also has an athletic team and provides ample guidance and support for kabbadi, swimming, and chess to name a few.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
Cafeteria
All the canteens serve both vegetarian and nonvegetarian dishes. Snacks, hot and cold beverages are available in all three canteens during working hours. Considering a large number of students who depend on the canteens, food is served in subsidized rates.
Auditorium
The Auditorium Complex also has four Seminar Halls. Approximately hundred people can be seated in each seminar hall. Depending on the requirement of the event the seminar halls comes in various sizes and seating options. All the four halls are ICT enabled along with a small dais for conducting programs.
Alumni Associations
The college has a good networking for the alumni association.
Wifi
The entire campus, both UG and PG are WiFi enabled, which can be freely accessed by both students and members of the staff.
Convenience Store
Books & stationery are available in the stationery store in the College campus. Photocopying facility is also available in the stationary store.
Banks/ATMs
There are ATM’s from two banks attached to the PG block for the use of students.
Laboratories
The college has departmental based laboratories facility for the students.
Girls Hostel
The college has girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
Medical/Hospital
The college has a health centre with first aid facility for the students.

College Infrastructure

Yes our college has all the infrastructure , facilities and equipment. Our classrooms have WIFI facilities, and smart board it is using and it is well maintained . The living space is well cleaned and maintained and the food is good and clean the food is hygienic .

College Infrastructure

Another important highlights about this call is its infrastructure. Campus itself is quite small, highly efficient, making of the limited space more over Prestige and instantly noticeable. Once it’s in premises. The classrooms here our state of the art classes equipped with projectors and sound system, and also the colleges premises are covered with WIFI, thus being beneficial for checking student attendance as well as doing quick search before and after lecture.

There are no smart boards , more hygienic food in canteen

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is good in the departments that receive funding attention. However, there is a visible disparity between well-funded departments and others. Students in certain programs feel their facilities are being neglected compared to the engineering or management blocks.
