The placements offered are good in TNAU. the lowest salary offered is 10,000/month and highest depends on the students. It changes year to year, from 15,000/month to lakhs/month. The 100% students aren't placed. It depends and changes from 55% to 98% .

The job oppurtunities for B.Tech in agricultural engineering at TNAU are not that good. There are no internships oppurtunities for them. Around 55% of the students from the last batch got placed and the salaries which were offered ranges from Rs . 20,000 per month to 25,000. Biocon and a few other MNC's offer jobs for us.

Congratulations! You scored brilliant. To get into government agriculturual colleges, cut-off of more than 85 is needed. But for food technology, it will be less. You will easily get private agri colleges. But studying agri in private college is worthless. Choosing government agri colleges is a wise decision. Try applying for government colleges. I wish you will get seat in government college.

In almost all Goverment colleges, admission in Bsc Agriculture happens direct through the marks of 12th of any student.

But There is a all India entrance exam for Bsc Agriculture Conducted by ICAR. If you crack this exam(Icar ug), you can get admission in any government college throughout India according to your rank. In every Goverment college there is 15% seat reserved for the student through ICAR exam. To appear in this exam every student should need 50% in their 12th.

Apart from that there are many Private college, that offers the course Bsc Agriculture. In Private colleges there are no barrier of marks, money talks there!

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University can release the notification for TNAU 2020 admission anytime in July for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. TNAU has recently launched the new portal for TNAU 2020 admission. The process of admission in TNAU 2020 is different for UG and PG programmes. TNAU UG admission 2020 will be based on the marks scored by candidates in the previously qualified examination, while TNAU PG admission 2020 of candidates will be based on the scores acquired in the entrance test. The TNAU 2020 result will be announced in the form of merit lists in online mode for UG and PG programmes.

The Eligibility Criteria is solely based on the Category distribution. It varies accordingly as 55%, 50%, 40% aggregate as per the Category you're representing.
