Dear Student,

Well, as per previous cut-off trends , if you are from SC category .. then your cut off score should be nearly 170 .. Generally , TNAU takes admission of TN students by counselling , if you are not from Tamilnadu , you can go for ICAR exam .

For SC /ST students : Max no of attempts to appear for admission counselling is three while for other communities , they have only two chances .

Well basic eligibility criteria to get admission in TNAU is as follows:

• Should qualify 10+2 exam with any of the following subject combinations:

1. PCMB or
2. PCB with elective subjects(ex: Microbiology ,Biochemistry, Home science etc) or
3. PCB with zoology

Congratulations on your achievement. You have a chance to get into B.Sc Agri at TNAU in Coimbatore, but you'll have a better chance of getting into one of the 15 constituent and 28 connected private colleges that use this test for admission. Because you did not choose your category, there is a potential that you will be accepted into a good TNAU college. If you have an interest in other courses that require TNAU rank, such as Horticulture, Sericulture, or Agricultural Engineering, you can apply to the main campus in Coimbatore. The ability to secure a spot is entirely dependent on the year's rank list and competition.

Hey aspirant , hope you are doing well. According to data in 2017 , a total of 178 marks were required for SCA category and in 2019 178-195 (according to categories) was the cut off to get admission but as the competition increases every year due to agriculture emerging as a desirable subject ,the cut off might get higher. It basically depends on the no. of students applied and have done better but i have given you the general criteria.

Based on the KVPY website, Agriculture is not mentioned there. So, you can directly mail the KVPY officials to confirm it. You can do basic sciences to get KVPY fellowship. Those subjects are,

You can choose anyone of the subject based on your interest. Related to Agriculture, you can study ecology or Environmental science or Botany. Biotechnology and genetics also provide knowledge about advanced techniques in agriculture. If you gat a seat in Agriculture counseling, take it and do Agriculture. you can get more experience and you can apply for other fellowships also.

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University will begin the TNAU 2021 admission for the academic session 2021-22 in the month of August. The exact date for the release of the application form is not yet declared as it is month of August it is expected that the officials will soon release the application form. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information. Based on the qualifying marks of the candidates, the rank list of TNAU admission 2021 will be released for the undergraduate and diploma programmes in the month of October.

TNAU counselling is conducted by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University to fill the agricultural seats in Tamil Nadu.

Even though, you belong to SC category and your cutoff is 192, there are less chance to get a seat in TNAU, Coimbatore. But, it can't be predicted so accurately now. It can be decided easily after the release of  Rank List from TNAU.

But, there are many chances to get a seat in other famous government colleges apart from TNAU, like Madurai, Trichy, Tirunelveli etc.,

Here is the eligibility criteria for B.sc Agriculture  :

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE PASSED 10+2 WITH AN AGGREGATE OF 50% AND MORE FROM A RECOGNIZED BOARD OF EDUCATION.

CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE OPTED SCIENCE AS STREAM IN 10+2 ,THERE SHOULD BE SUBJECTS SUCH AS PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, MATHEMATICS AND BIOLOGY.

ADMISSION IS DONE ON THE BASIS OF NATIONAL LEVEL ENTRANCE AND SOME UNIVERSITY/COLLEGE ALSO CONDUCT THEIR OWN ENTRANCE.

B.SC in Agriculture is an undergraduate course of having 4 years of duration. It is a degree in which Candidates need to study agricultural science,  modern agricultural techniques and technologies , equipments in practical application.

The course Fees varies college to college,  INR 7,000 - 40,000.

Being a most backward class student being a most backward the student and the cutoff of 177 it may be said that according to previous years cutoff for admission in Tamilnadu Agriculture University for PG UG courses and its affiliated colleges the process of counselling as we started on August 7 2021.minimum cutoff score is depend upon the every year every years criteria of admission procedure. Other number of candidates appearing for the examination the difficulty level of questions, the successful candidates number and merit. Previous years cutoff was cut off for TNAU and its affiliated colleges.

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University offers admission to 10 UG programs in 14 constituents and 28 affiliated colleges. The TNAU 2021 admission to PG programs. Application process for Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) 2021 has not yet started.  The application process was supposed to start in the month of June 2021 but it was delayed. If you had a option why,not grab it ,ICAR is the exam for admissions in agriculture ,and if just ICAR is qualified there you go , it's enough to get admission.

ICAR exam pattern will be with 180 MCQ question in  online mode .with 5 sessions.and ICAR exam will be conducted by September 7th,8th and 13th of 2021 .

So prepare hard,for that. Keep your basics revised everytime .
