M Sc Economics (with a specialization in environmental and resource economics) programme intends to examine the application of economic theory to environmental and natural resource issues within an interdisciplinary setting. The programme will especially target students wishing to become professional environment and resource economists in governments, corporations, international organizations and for those who want a career in research and consultancy in
environmental and resource economics.
Admission to the M Sc programmes is made on the basis of an online test and interview conducted by the Deemed University.
B.A. (Hons.) / B.Sc. (Hons.) in Economics with 50 % or more marks in aggregate (CGPA of 5.65). OR Bachelor degree in any other discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate (CGPA of 6.75). The applicant must have studied mathematics either at 10+2 level or at Bachelor's level, either as a subsidiary or as honours.
