Medical laboratory technology plays a vital role in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of disease. Medical Laboratory Professionals work in all areas of a clinical laboratory including clinical biochemistry, hematology, immunology, histopathology, blood banking, medical microbiology, and molecular biology laboratory. They perform a full range of laboratory tests starting from prenatal blood tests, to more complex tests to uncover diseases such as HIV/AIDS, diabetes and cancer. The Medical Laboratory Scientist's information obtained from laboratory helps the physician influence the medical treatment.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.
