Assam Down Town University placement cell prepares an annexure and forwards it to potential recruiters. Interested recruiters submit the annexure to the university with the necessary information.
Assam Down Town University placement cell and companies decide on a date for campus interviews. They send a notice to students regarding eligibility criteria and salary packages offered by the companies.
Students may be required to qualify for an exam that tests them based on aptitude, quantitative ability, logical reasoning, English proficiency, and more, after which they can appear for the interview.
Students are then set for the round of group discussion (GD), which tests their communication skills, critical thinking ability, problem-solving skills, presentation skills, and personality. The career cell does organize workshops and all but the placements is not guaranteed, and mostly below average pay level so people prefer to look for other opportunities. Some pharma companies visits though.

The university has tie-ups with various companies and placements are better for skill-oriented course. The career cell supports internships and soft skills training. I had not gone for any such as i wanted to go for higher studies. The placements is decent but you need knowledge and skills.
