Assam Agricultural University has specific eligibility norms for admissions to all the courses. For AAU Jorhat admissions 2024 to UG courses CETUGAAU24 scores will be considered. Valid GAT-B scores will be accepted for AAU Jorhat M.Sc Biotechnology admissions 2024 and for AAU Jorhat M.V.Sc admission.

AAU Jorhat PG Admission Procedure 2024

Eligible candidates must apply through the official website of Assam Agricultural University.
Selection of the candidates for AAU Jorhat admissions into Master’s Degree Programmes shall be based on the NTA score (2024-25) obtained by the candidates in ICAR AIEEA (PG) during the academic session 2024-25.
In order to admit the eligible students across the subject groups in the Faculties of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences, AAU Jorhat also conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET). AAU PG admissions through CET will be considered only when the candidates don’t find a place in a Department of their choice through NTA score.
Assam Agricultural University may also conduct Entrance Test (ET) for the subject/Department for which the ICAR does not conduct a similar test, such as, THT and for the subject groups with inconsistent eligibility criteria like BAC/FST/ABT/MBA.
Candidates must appear for the necessary entrance tests as listed above.
AAU releases its cutoff in multiple rounds depending on the number of applicants and the availability of seats.
Students who manage to clear the cutoffs must submit the necessary documents for verification and pay the requisite fees.

Assam Agriculture University is a d eemed University at Jorhat in Assam administers its entrance exam for admission.

Eligibility for UG course

Age - 16 years of age must be attained as of 1 August 2022.
Qualified HSC with physics, chemistry, biology and agriculture possessing 50% marks or above for UR/OBC and 40% marks or above for SC/ST/DAC.

For PG

A B.Sc. in agriculture/ horticulture/ Agri. Biotech/ B. Tech fisheries science graduate or degree in another related field of 4 years from UGC accepted university.
Minimum OGPA

Assam Agriculture University happens to be the first agricultural university in the north eastern region of the country. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the field of Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Home Science, Fisheries Science, Horticulture and Sericulture.

Admission into all B.Sc. courses is on the basis of merit in 10+2 examination. Counseling is done at the university level for the course. Candidates can fill in the admission form online and pay the entrance fee.

The minimum requirement is the successful completion 10+2 from a recognized board.
