Established in 1998, the training and placement cell of AAU Jorhat was formed to cater to the needs of students for their career development. Assam Agricultural University placements and affairs related to it are managed by the placement cell of the university. The training and placement cell initiates and manages the AAU Jorhat placements. The cell organises various placement activities such as training programmes on personality development, communication skills, leadership and other areas to smoothen the Assam Agricultural University placements. The training and placement cell facilitates campus interviews and placement in various government in various and non-government organisations. • Training and placement cell invites various companies for AAU Jorhat placements.

• Then, a placement schedule is decided by the placement cell and companies for pre-placement talks and the same is intimated to the students for Assam Agricultural University placements.
