KCET cutoff for OBC-NCL is 40% of the total score i.e. 72 or above out of 180. for your reservation category, it would be good if you have a rank below 5k to join top colleges. to get a rank of that range, you have to score above 150.
Prepare well. Practice lot. test yourself with previous year questions, solve sample papers and revisit and revise to weak sections.

But yes there are students in UAS Bangalore who are from Kerala or who have passed out from the college. If you want to get admission in university of agriculture science Bangalore then you have to give written exam test and merit list will be given on the basis of your undergraduate + written exam performance.
For btech or bsc also merit in qualifying exams will be taken.
