YBN University, Ranchi offers a variety of diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses with various features. Admission to the YBN University is based on the academic merit of the candidates. The merit list is prepared according to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Before applying for admission to any of the YBN University courses, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria. 

After the application process is completed, YBN University will release a merit list for each course, and shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in the counselling process. The university offers B.Sc, B.Com, B.B.A., B.A., B.C.A., L.L.B. and other courses at the undergraduate level. The duration of the YBN University UG courses varies from three to five years. Admission is based purely on the academic performance of the students in the qualifying examination and interview.

• Eligible candidates must appear in an entrance examination (PET: PhD Entrance Test) conducted by the university.

• NET/GATE-qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance examination. 

• Qualified candidates must participate in the further rounds for admission.

• Shortlisted candidates must pay the admission fee and confirm their admission.

The university will conduct counselling sessions for admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Candidates must fill up the online application form. Seats will be allotted on the basis of performance in the qualifying. The counselling will be held in online/offline mode.
