66 MonthsBachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course is 5.5 years, which includes 4.5 years of curriculum plus 1 year of rotating internship. It is offered by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Eligibility Criteria
- The higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on education; Eligibility criteria for internal assessment to appear in the annual examination is 40% marks in aggregate in theory and 60% marks in practical or 60:40 in theory: practical.
- It is mandatory to have 75% attendance in theory and 80% attendance in practical in each subject.
- It is essential to have 75% attendance in AETCOM separately in each phase.
- It is essential to have 75% attendance in the Electives to appear in the Phase III (Part II) annual examination.
Admission Details
Admission to the MBBS Course is done as per the existing NEET-UG and MCC Guidelines. Admission process is carried out by the Registrar of the Institute. During the admission process, fee deposition, document verification, document submission and surety bond submission are done. This will be followed by Medical Examination.
