ABVIMS Delhi Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has well-equipped departments spanning Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Radiology, Cardiology, CTVS, Endocrinology, Neonatology, Nephrology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Urology, and more, the hospital offers extensive learning opportunities across a diverse range of cases, enriching the student experience. These are equipped with cutting-edge technology, offering comprehensive patient care while serving as prime resources for student learning and research.

The state-of-the-art, centrally air-conditioned library building spread in 6284 square feet boasts of two floors with a seating capacity for 50-60 individuals at any given time on the first floor. The 3rd floor of the library has a new reading room with a capacity of about 108 students. Accessible via  lift, the library is well-equipped to serve both medical students and faculty, having a vast collection of over 37,000 bound books and approximately 250 journals in 32 different specialties dedicated to medical studies. Many of these resources are also available through CDs and online platforms.  Additionally, the library also provides access to free e-journals, e-books, and Clinical Key via the ERMED website, a service offered by the National Medical Library. The library also houses an archive of about 3,000 thesis published by the students. On the ground floor of the Library is the Dissection Hall for the first year undergraduate students.

The campus has dedicated sports grounds for outdoor activities like football, cricket, and athletics. Badminton Court, Carrom, Chess and Table Tennis Tables are there in the Hostel.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college features a well-equipped gymnasium for students to stay fit and healthy. Regular fitness programs or yoga sessions may also be offered. The gym is located in the Hostel.

The college has three floor separate building for offices of the faculty is situated in the ABVIMS campus. The Medical Education Unit is proposed on the 2nd floor of the Guest House. The Ground floor of the Guest house has a Microbiology Lab.

For the convenience of the staff members and the students of ABVIMS and Dr. RML Hospital, banking services are available within the hospital premises by Bank of Baroda. It has 24×7 ATMs and online transaction facilities.

The college has 20-storey hostel with 24-hour electricity, six elevators with adequate security and CCTV coverage, and centrally air-conditioned rooms with attached washrooms.
