Your expected rank will be around 4304, this can be calculated by the formula (100-your total percentile)*112679/100
In January session 112679 candidates appeared in JEE main paper-2.Your category rank is expected to be around 400 considering 2019 cut off you may have chances of getting seat in
Cut off may increase or decrease slightly depending on number of candidates applied, number of seats available, difficulty of exam etc.

Hi Mudit,
If you're compulsory compartment exam is pending or left uncleared, then it might not be possible to claim admission. However, if Business Studies was just an additional subject of yours, then it will not be a problem since you would have passed in other five main subjects. However check with IPU admission redressal to confirm about the same issue.
Yes,you can change your preference before sliding round as well but make sure before the last date... As if you wish to change it after last date is gone.. You CAN'T.. But still after sliding round you can go for spot counselling in which you can change or upgrade your college... However it is a risky process but still you can go for it. .
All the best
Hello Aspirant
Congratulations, as your hard work has paid of. As per your query, I would like you to know that you stand quite a good number of chances of getting a seat in MAIMS and JIMS through your rank.Hope this answer helps you with your query. All the best.
Hi Aspirant
Your question is a little ambiguous as you have not mentioned some of the details so I cannot seem to understand what information you are exactly trying to look for.
You have not mentioned your rank and without knowing your rank answering this question is impossible.
Mention these details in the comments section below and I will try to help you out.
Hi Rohi,
It is always advised that in second round of counselling, you should always fill choices higher than your previous round choices so that chances of getting better colleges are more. In your case, it depends on what choice have you locked during counselling phase, you might get a lower preferred college if that is in your choices also. You have not mentioned your AIR, score and category, that would have helped in telling your possibilities more precisely. If you have filled both lower and higher preferred colleges, then chances for lower ones are more than higher ones because seat allotment is merit based. However you can also get a better college than your previously alloted colleges if seats remain vacant.
Hope this helps you.
Hi Yash,
You have got a decent rank in IPU CET BA(JMC) and according to your rank you have a really good chance in VIPS by the sliding round. Last year the closing rank was 381 for 2nd shift in VIPS and 339 for 1st shift for an Outside Delhi General. So my advice for you would be to use float option as you may end up with VIPS if you have given it higher priority in your choice filling.
Good Luck !!
Hello there,
Both the colleges are good but if you have to choose between them then go for Maharaja agrasen institute of management studies.
The overall rating of MAIMS for B.Com honours is better than MSIT.
Placements in our college are average, and the salary packages offered would be around 4 LPA or above. Many of the big companies come to this college and give placements. Students get placements in companies like Flipkart, OLX, Quikr, etc
Faculty members are helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!!
A college’s infrastructure plays a crucial role in shaping the student experience. Well-designed classrooms with proper seating, lighting, and audio-visual aids create a comfortable learning environment. Libraries should offer not just books but also online resources, study spaces, and high-speed Wi-Fi for research. Hostels must be clean, safe, and equipped with basic necessities like clean drinking water, hygienic food, and good sanitation. Recreational and sports facilities are essential for students’ physical and mental well-being, while well-equipped labs with modern technology enhance hands-on learning. A decent cafeteria with affordable, hygienic, and diverse food options is equally important. Colleges should also focus on transport and accessibility, ensuring students can commute easily. On large campuses, shuttle services can be a great help. Additionally, modern infrastructure should include digital learning tools, smart classrooms, and IT-enabled services. A college that invests in well-maintained infrastructure shows its commitment to students’ overall development, beyond just academics. Poor infrastructure—such as broken facilities, outdated labs, or an inadequate number of study spaces—can hamper learning and student satisfaction. In the end, a well-planned campus with all the necessary facilities ensures a smooth academic journey and contributes to a positive and productive college experience.
My experience at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) is amazing. This institution provides good quality education and the infrastructure here is also very good. The college has a very good environment.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure necessary facilities and very equipment which a college needs the facilities are amazing as it has different canteens which provide different variety of foods
