The permanent campus had not been built yet but it is in in process and there are two hostels one in khelgaon and other in bsnl. The college have lack of medical equipments, the wifi is also not strong and no ac in class rooms but in faculty rooms and labs. the food is worst i paid for hostel but i eat mainly outside and the condition of the kitchen is also worst i saw some insects there.

I am currently pursuing btech in iiit ranchi and my branch is computer science and the quality of education is good but it could have lack of some specific labs like for robotics and which could be improved. It conducts many games and it could also resist some sports facilities.

The placements are good but the highest packages are mostly off campus. Many companies visits the campus for placement so it depends on the skills you develops by yourself and i think throughout all the tine you have to do everything yourself.

It does do it part in serving the students with a really vibrant and modern looking infra and everything and making the experience a bit better . The academic infrastructure is decent. The classrooms have projectors, the computers labs have working systems with good internet connectivity. The library is equipped with books, though adding more copies with be helpful for students. Coming to hostels, the rooms are of triple occupancy, the rooms are decent and cleaned almost regularly, though washroom maintenance can be a topic to work on. Wifi speed disappoints very much sometimes. The mess food is average, it gets repetitive and sometimes and hygiene is the region needs to be worked on. sports facilities are somewhat very limited, but there is enough open ground for casual games or running.

I am pursuing Computer science and engineering here, the curriculum here is good, it cuts out unnecessary subjects like chemistry, engineering drawing and gets straight to core CS topics from 1st semester, the faculties here are highly qualified. the curriculum is also well updated. but like any tech institutes you have to put in your own hours on coding and projects. Overall it builds solid base for students to make them future ready.

Placements are decent here, especially considering its a newer iiit. The placement percentage is also good, around 80 to 86 percent generally gets placed. The average package is generally hovers around 12- 15 LPA, good product and service companies do visit, but getting a top tier is really difficult. and relying only on on-campus placements can be a little foolish.

The permanent campus is still under construction. It works from a temporary campus in Bsnl and the hostel accommodation is in khelgaon. In Bsnl there is one academic building where all the classes are conducted and all the labs are there itself.As it's a temporary campus ,not much developed infrastructure is expected . Basic classrooms with projectors .That's all ,not even an auditorium.no such sports facilities,no playground.Library is not big enough conjusted...I would say. Labs are okay. And Hostels it's like an apartment type ..so it's ok overall. Yah the living spaces are cleaned at regular intervals but about food it wasn't good enough maybe because of the recent protest changes are expected.
