No
Of course, good building could make the classes a bit better. Better technology could be used. Wifi is not provided in the college; in fact, we cannot even take our phones out. The college is mediocre in the case of hostels. Hostel food is just okay. There are two men's hostels, one old and one new. The rooms in the old one, when compared to the new one, are just bad.
Faculty: The majority of the teachers are not well equipped or knowledgeable about teaching. Not that all of them are bad; there are really nice ones, but most of them just read the PowerPoint and go. You can't really call it a lecture, can you? Yeah, the course curriculum is good as it is a standard one, but nothing we study in the classrooms makes us industry-ready
80% of students were placed in previous years, and we are currently undergoing placements. The lowest package was INR 4 LPA, and the highest was INR 11 LPA. Google, I believe, was the top recruiting company for B.Tech. All students got internships, most of them in new enterprises.
Facilities provided in the college are top-notch. They have a very good library system in the main block. There are mainly 3 blocks: the PG block, the main building, and the KE block. The canteen is mid, not gonna lie. There is a newly started ice cream stall too. The hostel is one of the best, but the rules there are too strict for the students.
All the faculty are highly qualified but they are too strict and don't provide a college environment to the students. Most of the teachers provide a good quality of teaching. The course curriculum is well-planned and relevant. Semester exams are easy if you prepare well.
I'm currently a student at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology pursuing Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The college is situated in Kakkanad. They provide very decent infrastructure. Department wise, it is 4 out of 5; some renovations are to be done; faculty has individual rooms, making it easy to meet them; labs are fully equipped; assistants are provided to guide; the library is full of books to read; and hostel wise, it is 3 out of 5; the food is not up to the mark.
Qualified lecturers have much knowledge; they spend more time with students to know their interests. The curriculum is quite easy. 40 marks are internal and 60 are external; the minimum percentage is 40%, and students should have a minimum attendance percentage of 75 to write the exam
75% and above students get placed easily; the minimum package is INR 35k per month to INR 1 lac per month. Placements are based upon the software learned for civil engineering; the top recruiting companies are L and T Company; and 100% of students get internship offer guidance from our beloved professors.
For this course, the lab facilities are pretty good. Overall, offering hands-on experience as well with some of the machines. In the case of the hostel, both the girls and boys hostels offer neat rooms with decent food. Hostel is much better than other hostels in terms of food and facilities.
The teachers teaching the course are well-experienced and have well-known job experience. They are well knowledgeable about the subject they are teaching. Although some of them may be strict. They will help you in every way possible so don't worry about that. Semester exams are of average difficulty.
Everyone is offered placements, and they are all above average. This year everyone is offered above 5 LPA for this course. Main companies related to electrical are the ones to come forward and pick the students. With this course you can play a major role in the petroleum industry.
