College Infrastructure
One of the leading College in the Area. There are several infrastructure facilities like Grnerator , big auditorium, centre for various Governmental examinations, nice surroundings etc. And there is good library and museum with teaching aids which helps better learning.
Academics
Teachers are good and experienced. They have the experience for many years. They does not only teach from syllabus but extra curriculum. They never failed to inform students about any changes coming up.
Placements
Placement here is very nice and fabulous. They are well coordinated with students especially in third goal pursuing . Campus induction and orientation programs are very beneficial for students to explore the other world.
Campus Life
We have fun in Patkai College. The surrounding campus are extremely cool and friendly peaceful.

Experience was not good. Couldn't get a job anywhere.
College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is decent. The campus had training kitchen, well equipped dummy restaurant for FnB services practice. Got exposure to real world scenario. However, some facilities seemed outdated.
Academics
Academies was average, should have focused more on actual scenarios. The curriculum focus on core subjects such as- Food production, Housekeeping, health science, Food and beverages, Housekeeping and accounting.
Placements
The placement was not good, the average package was of INR 3 Lakhs which is very very less, but given the fact that hospitality industry has such a low standards. Can't argue with the average package.

A very good infrastructure and a beautiful campus we have around full of greenery and the infrastructure is well maintained and even the important structure like labs nd pducic make university stand out , library has excellent wifi connection and technical technology are available.

Yeah its okh we have moderate system of our academic, good teachers but somewhere its remains insufficient as at last we have to study by ourselves for some subjects when teachers aren't available on right time. Nd exams are on head.
Placements
Placement system has just improved yet there are lots of loop hole, don't expectuch placements from this university around 30% is only that we can expect from it other nothing else we have to go off campus for placement

The best part of the colleges their placement because the college decide by their placement previous year package was 7 lakh per annum but this year the average package was 8 lakh per annum the package criteria day by day increases

Hostel and canteen facilities are manageable but can be improved further for student comfort.

The academics at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya are fairly good and the university has strong recognition and value in Chhattisgarh because it is a central university. Many students choose GGV for graduation and competitive exam preparation due to its affordable education and decent academic environment. The syllabus and courses are acceptable, and students get exposure to seminars, assignments, and other academic activities. However, students should not depend completely on teachers for learning because every faculty member is not equally dedicated or effective in teaching. Some teachers are experienced, supportive, and knowledgeable, while others may only focus on completing the syllabus. Because of this, self-study plays a very important role here.

The placements at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya are average. The university has a good name as a central university, but placement success mostly depends on students’ own skills and preparation. Some students get decent placements, but overall the opportunities are not very impressive. Success here depends more on self-effort than the college itself.

It has good value in Chhattisgarh because it is a central university, but students mostly need self-study and personal effort for growth. Campus life is simple and peaceful rather than very exciting. If your home is nearby or you want an affordable option, then it can be a good choice. But if you have a higher rank and better options, then you can consider other universities too.

Actually if you come to Patkai you will see wonderful campus.The campus is enveloped with beautiful nature with green generator , centre for vocational education too. There is several good books , good library also. Various teaching aids are available and upgraded.

Syllabus are covered within the given time, conducting regular classes test and exam boost our understanding and knowledge and allowed us to prepare for the end exam.They readily update us with the latest information and curriculum in the class.
Placements
Placement is also good in the sense that students have already completed their assignments and courses and have been assigned in various highly paid companies across the state and Country. Number of alumni being selected have increased which shows the unending hard work of placement cell in the college.
Campus Life
The College is in the outskirts of the main town so it’s pretty peaceful and lovely. We have lots of fun and joy.

To be honest the college is really old but the place is amazing , you will really love it.

It gets so stuffy that concentration drops. Please prioritize installing ACs to match the otherwise great facilities.

Teachers are great, and faculty teaching is good. However, classrooms lack ACs—it's unbearably hot. Also, teachers sometimes just rush through PPTs. Infrastructure is otherwise fine, but please fix these issues.

Great placement record with a solid 70% placement rate. Many reputed companies visit regularly, and the support from the placement cell is commendable. For a college of this level, a 70% success rate is quite impressive and offers students a strong start to their careers. Highly satisfied

We have all the necessary infrastructure required for us like clean classrooms, laboratories, libraries too. We don't have a sports centre and our campus is too small. But the hygiene is maintained all throughout the campus from toilets to canteens

I am studying bsc in nutrition and dietetics because of fondness of food. I love the fact, that i am studying this course as i am a foodie. The teaching quality is decent like some teachers are good while some are tough to coordinate with. And yes this course makes me job ready

The quality of placements is quite good according to my seniors and i feel when i have my placements too, i will be well assisted too. Our college provides pure assistance during the placement year and i am pretty excited for our placement.

The syllabus uses practical cooperate case studies and professors have a great industry insight. My core issue is the rushed trimester schedule . Jamming a huge syllabus in a small window . Forces us a loop learning instead of deep comprehension.

The cell secures massive placement drives with top brand like Deloitte and ICICI . The placement is heavy competition due to large batch size.while top offers INR 19 LPA . A massive chunk of the batch lands average profiles around INR 8 LPA .

Life outside the lectures is incredibly vibrant . The campus features great food courts and students club hosting national conclave . The minor downside is strict curfew rules and rigid hostel regulations feels a little restrictive for adult post graduates students.
