Companies like TCS , cognizant , teleperformance visit here for placement with good packages. Package normal starts from 2.5 lakh and goes up to 5 lakh rupees for college students and they also provide different internship opportunity once a year

All the faculties teaching have PhD in their respective subjects. Also, the curriculum is fully updated, including recent developments in the field. The quality of teaching is very nice and we have an ERP Portal where we submit all our assignments and get our notes.
Placements
The college has a separate department for internships and placements i.e., Department of Career Planning and Development. The students have to attend separate lectures of this department, these lectures especially focus on soft skills of students which help them to get placed.

It has a great campus life with the infrastructure like gathering areas, cafes, etc. Also, there are events hosted regularly, which are superb energetic with the guest singers. The college is also very much known for its events.

The building of UBS is a remarkable symbol of the long and successful legacy of Panjab University. Standing tall within the lush green campus, it is popularly known as Arts Block 3 and Arts Block 6. The structure reflects history and tradition, representing years of academic excellence. However, despite its strong legacy, the building now requires significant repairs and modernization. In today’s competitive academic environment, legacy alone is not enough. It is essential to upgrade infrastructure to meet the standards expected of a reputed B-school. Basic amenities such as clean washrooms, well-developed classrooms, and access to safe drinking water are fundamental requirements. Unfortunately, UBS currently falls short in these areas. It is the need of the hour to revamp the infrastructure and align it with contemporary educational standards to maintain its reputation and continue attracting quality students.

The syllabus is often described as being at par with the IIMs, but in reality, it has become outdated. The curriculum places excessive emphasis on rote learning, with minimal focus on practical exposure, industry interaction, or experiential learning, elements that are essential for any modern B-school. Instead of fostering collaboration and growth, the environment often feels divided. In such a scenario, merit sometimes seems secondary to affiliations, which is deeply concerning for an academic institution
