The quality of placements have been good enough from what I have heard till now I have heard about 40-50 LPA placements here pretty much both the years I've been here For campus placements a lot of good companies like JP morgan regularly come here

I expected a college which brings up Events more than academics but it turned out to be the opposite The events have not been as fun as you think when you hear about SRM All the fun happens in KTR and the studying and placements I feel it happens more in SRM RMP A bit unbalanced as of now The college is good The friends are nice If you got a good bunch of people around you You're guaranteed to have a fun few years

I studying Btech in Computer Science and Engineering. The college have experienced teachers and professors. My college is updated and includes all the recent developments in all the fields like computer science, mechanical, electrical. Yes my course make me ready for the job.
Placements
In my college many companies came and give high salary packages and incentives and also have good environments. Approx 60% student take their placement. Highest package was approx 20 lpa. Average salary was 10 lpa. Placement process was easy for every students. My college is very supportive for placements and studies also.
Campus Life
My college campus is very best. My college campus have very space for sports or any type of competition. Activities like badminton, cricket, kabaddi, etc. The students, teachers, and support staff are good in nature and helps every students. Location of my college is at perfect area where every small and bid things are available at reasonable prices. Location of my college is very safe because it is on main road so if any problem or emergency held then we go anywhere at any time. My college handles all emergencies.

The University of Visva Bharati provide various type of jobs. The placement cell organize various workshops and job fairs for the students. The students also pursue higher studies rather than jobs with the help of scholarships.

College Infrastructure
Infrastructure of classrooms and hostel facilities are ok if you are somebody staying far away from home but i wouldnt say to study here if you want to pay 4.5 lakhs or 2.5 lakhs for your degree, its not worth it. EC and many other branches dont have placements and the only people coming in are for CS and IT and that too very few get placed. Study here if you can get e-grantz (caaue everything from hostel to mess bill will be covered) in that and kind of good exposure if you get the main campus
Academics
Teachers teach and leave and might help you to get your papers signed but no other extra support. Not much permanent faculties and if we want to study and earn good marks we can and also sitting for placements and earning a good job is our need,not theirs. There are a few good professers in a few branches but dont expect to score good marks without studying hard.

Placements are going up and down. If this year its good, the coming years might be good and if its bad, it will be bad. Some branches dont evem have placements and maybe Safety and Fire engineering have the most placement rather than technical branches. Not much placement support for most of the branches other than your seniors might refer their company and plead them to come visit our campus. Overall its below average.

The quality of placement in my college is Good. Around 80- 85% students placed and got the decent package. The highest package is around 15 LPA which was for CSD. The average salary was around 6LPA. The placement process is pleasant, the college is supportive while the placements are happening.
