The infrastructure is noticeably subpar and in urgent need of updating. Classrooms and labs lack modern technology, and essential maintenance seems neglected. Wi-Fi is unreliable, and the library facilities are outdated, significantly hindering effective learning and research for students across all departments.
Academic support is seriously lacking. The faculty generally appear unprepared and are not supportive or knowledgeable enough to effectively guide students. This deficiency makes the learning environment challenging, requiring students to seek outside help.
The placement scenario is highly discouraging, though definitive data is hard to come by. There's a noticeable lack of reputed companies visiting the campus, and the placement cell offers very little effective training or support. Graduates are largely left to fend for themselves in the job market, suggesting weak industry connections.
The overall campus life is quite dull and uninspiring. There are very few engaging clubs, events, or extracurricular activities to foster a sense of community or personal development. The lack of enthusiasm makes the environment feel stagnant and purely transactional.
Needs major upgrade: Improve infrastructure, update curriculum, hire better faculty, and fix mess/canteen quality.
Srm Main Campus is packed with all the best infrastructure like Central library, massive classrooms and modern teaching aids for a great learning experience Every classroom has open wifi with great connectivity for academic purposes, and almost every classroom has projector with soft board for presentation purposes The buildings are not the most aesthetically pleasing but are very functional even thought some are under maintenance at times. Srm has one of Asia's biggest air conditioned Auditorium that has been used for a number of international and national conferences, events and other things.
As a B.com Corporate Secretaryship student at SRM, the staff are as encouraging as any other deemed to be universities and our class average mark ranges around 60~70%. The departments are supportive for extra curricular activites outside the college and inside the college too, with academic fairs and monthly conferences held at the many auditoriums. The curriculum is updated yearly and revised for every new batch entering, with extra curriculum subjects being included for almost every course. Language subjects are included for the first year, while our batch(2023-2026) had elective subjects for two years.
As a final year student the, SRM is providing the best placement training and preparation with partnership with T.I.M.E institute, but at extra cost over the course fees unfortunately. Placement opportunities are very good and on par with other top institutions of chennai, and the college staff are helpful with the placement process.
Campus life varies hugely depending on a lot of factors, for instance a day scholar like myself lose out on initial college life opportunities like events and tournaments due to after college timings , and department exclude entry for high level events are also there so it is not really great in that aspect, but over all there are multiple huge events, roadshows, stall/bazaar happening every week which is available for the students , the campus is massive and packed with canteens, hangout places, parks, etc.
Srm has a lot of reputation for a number of reasons, but as far as big campus universities go in chennai, srm has the optimal balance of all things with the right pricing and convience albeit while lacking few features and stuff. It is a good college
I am currently studying 3rd year at iare. the facilities her are soo good . the laboratories , classrooms have all the necessary equipment like projectors , smart TVS . we also have library and the number of books are vast the seating area in the library is also big , it can accommodate at least 200members at a time . these are well maintained by cleaning them regularly . it also gives so many sports facilities .
I am studying CSE with a specialization in cybersecurity . the faculty here are very knowledge persons . the help us to clarity all the doubts . The portion that we have in exams is completed before a week itself which allows us to have time to read and prepare for the exams . The curriculum that we have now is also updates that is BT23. It does make me job read as we have a separate training for that , which is very helpful.
The overall placement of our college is very good . Every student is leaving the college with a job in there hand . the highest salary package is 60lpa for 2 people that is Cyber Security and Computer science engineering . the Average salary is 5lap and and the placement was very pleasant because of the way our college management have handled it .
The best features in my college is that they are trying to be in every aspects they even encourage students to participate in various sports and excel in whatever the student is interested in . they also support us if we have any startup ideas and if we feel stuck anywhere the guide us in every possible way . the only negative I can see is during rainy season the water enters in to the canteen and all over the college which makes us difficult to walk . It is very safe as it is not open gates . one has to get permission from the respected hods to go outside the college . in case of any medical emergences there is always a team present in the college to look after them
I do recommend you the college as the facilities and the teaching staff is very supportive and friendly . Even the hostel facilities are very good .
I feel disappointed that the college seems to prioritize heritage appearance over practical functionality, which is why I am giving infrastructure two stars. I am constantly frustrated by the unreliable internet facility in the Mass Communication department, which makes time-based research and project uploads incredibly difficult for me, often forcing me to use my own mobile data.
I find the academic structure here to be quite rigid and dated, resulting in an average three-star rating from me. I appreciate that the professors cover the core curriculum thoroughly, and I know I am learning the foundational elements of journalism. However, as a second-year student, I wish I could dive deeper into modern areas like data journalism, podcast production or digital marketing strategies. I feel stuck with very general topics.
I must rate the placement structure poorly because they do not align with my goals of becoming a field reporter, hence the two stars. I consistently see companies offering roles primarily in corporate communications, content writing for startups or entry-level public relations firms, which is a big disappointment for me as a core journalism student.
I must be honest and say I find the campus life far too restrictive for a modern, liberal arts university setting. I feel that the administration heavily limits casual interaction and networking opportunities by keeping the campus timings very tight, which constantly rushes me and my friends between classes. While I appreciate and value the female-only environment, I wish there were more formal opportunities for intellectual exchange and joint cultural events.
Our college offers a dynamic and students focused learning space the campus is well laid out, with clean surroundings comfortable classrooms with advanced laboratory setups, and a resourceful library.
The lectures are knowledgeable and approachable using creative methods to explain topics clearly they encourage discussion practical understanding and active participation which helps students allway.
The career development teams works consistently to prepare students for a real world opportunities through structures training interview preparation and industrial interactions to develop basic skills
The atmosphere campus in college is energetic and positive with plenty of open spaces, and sports zones activity areas that promote a healthy balance between academics and extra curricular activities
The college building itself is a solid four. We have an excellent Journalism and Mass Communication laboratory for our practical work, and the library is large and quiet when I need to cram before a Calcutta University exam. The canteen is decent, but I often choose to just step outside for food, and I wish there was a better internet facility in the college.
The quality of teaching in the Journalism department is one of the biggest strengths here. The professors do not only know about the core curriculum but are also very supportive and friendly. I wish the syllabus would update a little faster to keep pace with the hyper-digital media landscape, but within the Calcutta University framework, I think our department does an exceptional job.
The average package offered for Journalism and Mass Communication seems to be quite low compared to other streams, so I realize I have to work twice as hard to build my own portfolio and seek out-of-campus internships to secure a good job. I wish the placement cell focused more energy on bringing in core media and journalism recruiters.
There are plenty of societies, and I have been able to participate in debates and club activities. The only reason I did not give it a five is that the campus area is quite compact. I sometimes wish we had a large, dedicated space just for college students to hang out without the school crowd.
The college has excellent infrastructure with spacious classroom's modern labs, a well-stocked library, and clean surrounding.the campus is beautifully maintained with good facilities like Wi-Fi, smart classroom, and comfortable hostels. The overall environment is perfect for learning and growth. Really impressed with how will the management maintain everything.
The academic quality of this college is truly impressive.the faculty members are highly qualified, supportive, and use innovative teaching methods to make learning engaging. The curriculum is well structured and update with the latest trends in tha field. Regular seminar, workshop and assignment help students gain practical knowledge along with theory, overall,it provides a strong academic foundation for future success!
Excellent placement opportunities! The college placement training is very good provided visiting every year.the placement cell is very active and guide students through resume building, interview preparation, and career counseling.many students get placed in reputed organisation with good salary package.
Amazing campus life!campus life of enjoy there are pretty of cultural events here clubs and festivals the make students life exciting and memorable .the atmosphere and helping everyone feel comfortable and continue the college in tragedy extra curricular activities along with economy make the perfect place for enjoyment and truly one of the best explains of the my life!
I have to admit that the infrastructure is probably the best part of being here. I was relieved to find that our college is air-conditioned, which is a lifesaver during Kolkata's brutal summers. The Journalism and Mass Communication department specifically has a media lab and I wish I got more hands-on time there. My main critique is that I feel I am sharing too much space with the school section which makes the campus feel smaller than I would like.
I find that the quality of academics depends heavily on the individual professor, especially in my department. Some of the faculty members are incredible and imparts a lot of knowledge but I have also felt frustrated by some professors who stick rigidly to the Calcutta University syllabus and rely too much on basic theory.
This is the area where I feel the most disappointed as a Journalism and Mass Communication student. I see very few, low-paying job opportunities that comes for placement for my stream. I am building my resume as I cannot rely solely on the college placements for a career in my field.
I have found a great circle of friends and that has made my experience enjoyable. The college has some cool cultural fests and I have really enjoyed participating in various societies. However, I must tell that the college has a restrictive environment compared to other colleges in Kolkata.
The infrastructure was typical of an older city college when I was studying. The location was right next to the busy Sealdah area and so, sometimes, I felt the campus was always a bit too crowded and chaotic on the outside. Inside, the classrooms were large but sometimes lacked proper ventilation, especially during the hotter months of the year. I often utilized the library and it was beneficial but I cannot say I was ever truly impressed by the overall building maintenance or the modern amenities.
The main asset of this college was the faculty. They were experienced and taught well, especially in Financial Accounting and Taxation, which gave me a very strong foundation. The flexible attendance was also a huge plus as it allowed me to do a part time job while completing my degree.
Placement for general Bachelor of Commerce students was very weak. I saw almost no big companies visit for recruitment. Few students got jobs through the college and those offers were usually low-paying from small local companies.
Campus life was friendly but small. Since the college grounds were not large, there was not a big area for outdoor sports. Nevertheless, the annual college fest and cultural events like Saraswati Puja were always energetic and fun.
The campus is excellent, modern and located right in the heart of Kolkata. We get fully air-conditioned lecture halls, reliable internet facility and a comfortable library. I am docking a point only because the elevators are frustratingly slow and crowded during class changes, often forcing me to take the stairs.
Academics are a mixed bag. Some professors use great practical examples, making the concepts easier to understand. However, quality is inconsistent across the board, and many classes rush only to complete the Calcutta University syllabus, which means I rely heavily on self-study for real depth.
Placement efforts are strong and attract big firms. While the placement cell helps with workshops, the issue is not the effort but it is the intense competition. The class size for Bachelor of Commerce is so large, the highest-tier opportunities are reserved for the top performers. For the majority of students, securing a good placement requires far more effort beyond just decent academic scores.
Absolutely vibrant and busy, earning a perfect score. The best part is the sheer number of activities, major fests and student committees, which guarantee engagement and a strong social scene. The college gives us excellent freedom to organize and run these events, making the experience memorable.
Great college in-terms of infrastructure The college have great board room facility The liabiry have great collection pf books Food quality is very good and hygiene is maintained kitchen is cleanly maintained
I am studying pgdm in MDI M Every course have uniquely distributed with core course like Finance Marketing HR Analysis Faculties have well knowledgeable and there behaviour is very good any situation of difficulty
College have 100 percentage placement There average salary offered by the organisation is 900000 which is value for money that’s way placement process is little difficult but if you clear the salary is well valued
Great
Infrastructure is good . Old building is not good but new building is really good . It feels really good canteen us not ok ok ground is nice and other things is also fine Washroom are not good . Need improvement
Faculty is good . Teachers are really good . Like fir commerce department it very good idk about other department. Teachers helps in understanding and learning a lot , and help with assignment as well .
We have a placement cell . But I really don't know exactly about it but I have heard of it . Other then that our college provide us with intership. But unpaid which from my pov is not good . Being college students we all need money for expenses .
No such event in college happens

If we consider the college infrastructure, I can tell that it has everything equipment required, I mean college library, department library, labs and lot more. Where as if we consider the Hostel They are old Food is good The while area is filled with greenery which indeed gives positivity.
Being in first year I can say that the faculty is good . Some are very experienced . There are many technical clubs with also educates you . The non technical clubs helps in self development . There are clubs for sports and music also.
Based on statistics the highest was grabed by cse student for 45 LPA second d was around 28 LPA by aiml Less placement for the students who chose more subjects. So that can be focused more Probably it can increase.
The Infrastructure of Zakir Hussain Delhi College is average. Some classes still have broken and old benches. Water quality is poor and food is okaish in hygiene level. There are no projectors for labs and laptops are very outdated and some are not even in working conditions.
I am studying BCom Hons in Zakir Hussain Delhi College. The quality of teaching is poor. The curriculum is outdated and doesn’t make you job ready at all. You are given assignments and practicals which are totally waste of time and efforts and doesn’t teach you anything.
Placement rate in Zakir Hussain Delhi College is poor. Very less percentage of students are placed with less package. Placement cell is not that effective and doesn’t offer large or too many companies.
Campus is not that great and the location is also isolated from other colleges of DU.
Dr Hari gour vishwavidhyalaya is big and area quality is good and students facilities are also good and it is very beautiful and located on the forest area with huge amount of nature and freshness ...
Overall the academic performance of Dr. Hari Singh gour vishwavidhyalaya is good and there are huge knowlege we have found here their curriculum is designed in that way which help in not only present.
The placement of the Dr Hari Singh gour university is not so good because it is in the city where most big tech companies may don't have interest in such these cities instead they have another option.
In Dr hari singh gour vishwavidhyalaya university here campus life is very nice because when the students study their environment is good and very comfortable by which the students get more focus in their study
Yes it has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. There are approx 50 benches in each room with the projector to present or teach with the laptop. This college has the Asia's largest workshop containing all the equipment and have a better pratical knowledge in the domain. There are particular rooms for indoor games, dancing, singing, gym, and computer labs. There is a library containing all the major books we require. It also has a vast playground for the outdoor games. Yes the hostels are regularly cleaned and food are hygienic.
I am pursuing B.Tech in Production and Industrial Engineering. The teachers are well qualified and provides notes and teaching style are good. Yes, it contains some recent developments in the field not all. Yes, this college makes us ready for the real world.

The campus life is good. There are supportive teachers and helpful. The students can engage in all indoor and outdoor games. They can also have tech field activities. Dancing, singing, drama, gym , open mic are also what students can do. The students, teachers and support staff come from all over india, we can see diff religion and culture in our college. Yes it is safe.and can handle emergencies.
The college is good. It's placement crosses some of the nits. You can prefer this college over lower NITS.
College infrastructure is very good and campus is ragging free and it's very clean.Good labs are there.Roads are well lighted. The area is around 107 acres. The campuss have gardens all around. No chance of disease and anything...
The campuss is well known for its academic structure. The teacher who are here are highly qualified. The are very helpful and have a supportive nature towards the students. If any student is focused towards GATE for higher studies of jobs in PSU this the best place for you.
Placement record is very good here.Companies like Google, Microsoft,LNT, Wipro,TCS,Jindal and Saw etc come here for recruitment and offer very good package for the students. In the year around 2025 around 94 percent of the total students are placed.
I have experienced a very good campus life.
Infrastructure is good. The campus is clean and well maintained. Classrooms are modern and well equipped.Overall, the infrastructure at Vardhaman College Of Engineering is impressive and creates a personal growth.
The College offers great infrastructure, experienced faculty and excellent placement opportunities. The ROI here is really good, the placement packages and career growth. The college follows a continuous evaluation
It offers good Placements. ROI return on investment is excellent and offers a great career growth. The faculty helps in guiding the placement related things. Placements packages and career growth are much higher.
Campus life at Vardhaman College Of Engineering is lively and enjoyable. The college organizes many cultural activities, technical fests and sports activities that make student's life exciting. Overall a good campus life.
The university is really big with lots of classes for all the selected courses. There are also many laboratories with all the necessary equipments. In the computer lab all the necessary devices are present. The washrooms are clean and hygienic
Teachers here are very nice and supportive if we forget the concept of favouritism. You really need to be close to the teachers or always around them so that you can get the score higher in the exams because if they don't know you they will not give you more marks. Except from that, the teaching is good.
Placement of the university is not as good. There is a placement cell where the names of the star performers are forwarded for them to have a placement from the university but it does not really makes it sure
