Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad is quite impressive with well-equipped classrooms, modern laboratories, and a strong IT setup including 24/7 Wi-Fi access across the campus. The institute has a huge 7-storey central library with a vast collection of books and digital resources, providing an excellent study environment. Hostels are decent with basic amenities like water, internet, and common areas, though some buildings are old and maintenance can vary. Sports facilities are good with grounds, courts, and indoor activity centers available, though some areas may undergo renovation. The campus is green and peaceful, creating a positive academic atmosphere. Overall, the infrastructure supports both academics and extracurricular activities well, but improvements in hostel facilities and food quality would enhance the experience further.

It is quite good as compared to other private colleges . Here you will find so many good things . Yes but we can say there are still many things getting renovated. So there are still improvement required .
