Honest Review from my side for LPU
College Infrastructure
My experience with the infrastructure at Lpu has been pretty good. The campus is really big, and it took me some time to get used to it. The classrooms are comfortable and the computer labs are useful for practical classes. I also used the library quite a few times and found it helpful for studying. There are many food outlets and sports facilities inside the campus
Academics
Academics have been an average experience for me. I am pursing BE in computer science branch. quality of teaching is average. Mostly syllabus is not update. Only 1 new subject was introduced in 4 year journey till now. Curriculum is not that job ready that it will help us to get job easily
Placements
My experience with placements was not very good. I attended different placement drives and applied for several opportunities, but getting selected was difficult. There are many companies that visit, but there are also a lot of students competing for the same job. Average package is very low for my college ie approx 4-5 lpa.
Campus Life
The campus is so large that you can find different places to spend time with friends. At the same time, the huge number of students can sometimes make things feel crowded. Campus is although beautiful to explore and city is also amazing.

Thapar have a best infrastructure in list of engineering colleges. Whole college is have good connectivity via auto and e-rickshaw which charge fixed of rupees 10 for every location within the campus. the college have good greenery too. Washroom are also well maintained in all blocks except block B.
Academics
CSE is not very easy and you have to study regularly, especially for subjects like data structure algo, DBMS and operating systems. My experience with teachers has been different for different subjects. Some explain things really well and are easy to approach, while some are just average.
Placements
there is a lot of competition because of the number of students. Many companies come for recruitment, but getting a good package depends mainly on your own preparation. Coding, projects, internships and communication skills make a big difference. The college provides opportunities but they are less. placement process is smooth and easy from my point of view.
Campus Life
The campus is green and there are plenty of places to hang out with friends. I have also met people from different parts of the country, which makes the experience better.There is a main park known as nirvana where student enjoy in evening.

Tiet has a pretty good overall infrastructure. The classrooms are comfortable and the CSE labs have the required computers and software for practical work. The library is useful when you need a quiet place to study. Wi-Fi works across most of the campus, although it can occasionally be slow.
Academics
I am pursuing CSE and the academics have been a mix of theory, coding and practical assignments. The core subjects like DSA, DBMS, OS and networking give a good foundation, while there are also options to explore newer areas later. The syllabus is fairly relevant to the field also.
Placements
CSE has good opportunities from software and technology companies. There is a wide range of recruiters, but the competition among students is also quite high.Median package for computer science branch goes around 12 lpa and highest was 1.2 cr last year.
Campus Life
Campus life is one of the best parts of Thapar for me. The campus is quite green and spacious, and there are plenty of places to sit around with friends between classes. There are many clubs, societies, fests and sports activities, so it is easy to find something outside academics.

Thapar University has a spacious and green campus with good classrooms, computer labs, library and hostel facilities. Most things are well maintained and Wi-Fi is available around campus. The campus has enough places to sit, study and relax. best part of infra is its library.

I am studying computer engineering branch and the academic experience has been fairly good so far. The syllabus covers useful technical subjects, although some courses can feel fast paced. Faculty support is good when you approach them with doubts, but self-study is important.
Placements
Placement opportunities for Computer science students are quite good, with companies from software, consulting and technology sectors visiting campus. The competition is also high because of the large student intake, so having good coding skills and projects matters a lot. approx average salary offered is about 11 lpa.
Campus Life
The campus is green and lively, with plenty of clubs, societies, events and food options. Patiala is also fairly convenient for students, and there are many places on campus to hang out with friends. but the campus is little bit expensive too but not so much.

Mera college ka infrastructure lagbhag achha hai hostel bahut purana hai lekin library,wifi ki suwidha bahut hi achha hai mess unhygienic hai khana achha nhi milta jiske wajah se bahut problem face karna par rha hai.

Mere department mai teacher achhe hai achha padhate hai hamare department mai 3 faculties hai jo ki padhayi ke saath saath aur bhi bahut chijo mai help karte hai jaise games , placement,aur bahut supportive bhi hai .

I am department of German .padhayi to achha hai but placement nhi hai yaha pe ,koi bhi company yaha nhi aati aur na hi koi interview liya jata hai jiske wajah se placement nhi ho pata ,aur hmlogo ko itna padhne ke baad job nhi mil pata .

I am student of geography department,hamre department mai faculty bahut hi achhe hai hamari mam aur sir dono hi bahut supportive hai ,job se leke har skills mai support karte hai jo hamare liye bahut helpfull hai .

Hamare department mai placement nhi hai .agar placement mile bhi to salary package bahut kaam hota hai ,aur yaha pe bahut sare department mai placement zero hai aur sare students ko problem hota hai job mai.

Overall bahut kuchh kharab hai yaha mess, hostel,aur placement.

Acc to current market i'll say quite decent especially if youre into Fintech , there are more offers relative to other IITs . Dont expect Much regarding core offers in core department they are there but less

completed my Diploma at SAM Global University and this year I joined BE Civil Engineering I already knew the campus so the transition felt easy I like the updated classrooms open study areas and the civil department labs where I am looking forward to learning more

After studying here during my diploma I chose the same university for BE because I had a good learning experience My teachers explain concepts clearly and encourage questions I feel the first year classes are helping me build a stronger foundation in civil engineering

I rate 5 star because infrastructure is very good. Clean classroom, Big library, fast wifi computer lab and clean washrooms. Management always try to improve facilities. They provide basic amenities too.

Teachers are highly qualified and they also explain topics very clearly. We have regular tests and doubt sessions. Practical classes helps us a lot. Syllabus is completed on time. Very satisfactory at all.

College have good tie up with different companies. We have a separate placement cell for training and interviews. We attend different workshops that are conducted by college themselves for students .

College organises many cultural fests and sports events. It also has social club activities in which students can participate and earn rewards and fame in college. In college we have a lot of societies from dance to comedy. A student can explore a lot there.

College campus is in a very big area having a blue colour main building which is fully air conditioned and escalators in it. library is big enough with spacious seat for around 50 students. Sports facility is also top class.

Our college curriculum is updated with changes in industry like what students need to learn to compete in market. Faculty uses presentation on smart boards while teaching theory and also provides real life examples.

Placement is very high as top companies visit our campus for providing jobs to students. College provides internships on their own and also we get pre placement training sessions like group discussion rounds.

Hostel and campus atmosphere is very lovely. Many things happen like fest, competitions and different cultural activities lead to give chance to students to explore their hidden talent on stage among students.

Building and classrooms are ok but some lab equipment needs to be changed as the are old now. Library is good but mostly wifi speed is very slow and even it does not connect. Sports ground needs maintaenence also

Teaching is average, some teacher explains really well but others just complete syllabus fast without any any clarity. Students get passed but have no knowledge regarding that topic. Doubt sessions are held only if you insist.

Only few reputed companies visit campus for placement. even the placement package is not high or good its just around 4 lpa to 6 lpa. placement cells try their best but training alone isnt enough good for students.

Fests and events are not organised frequently. There are many clubs but all of them are not active the whole year frequently. Campus atmosphere is decent it can be more engaging for students and more friendly.

The college has a good overall infrastructure with spacious classrooms and proper seating arrangements. Ac and fans are available , although ac facilities are not present in every classroom. The library is quite large , well maintained and has good infrastructure with useful facilities for students . Wifi is also available on campus. The college has sports grounds and facilities for students . I have not personally used the hostel, but there are multiple hostels available on the campus . Overall , the cleanliness and maintenance are good , and I would rate the infrastructure 4 out of 5.

The academic experience at lucknow university is good overall. The teachers regularly take classes and complete the assigned syllabus on time. They are helpful when students have doubts and are also approachable through whatsapp when needed. The curriculum is updated every semester, and classes are conducted regularly, six days a week . However teachers generally focus on completing their respective portions rather than closely monitoring individual students . The course can provide useful practical and job related knowledge if a student takes the initiative to study and learn beyond the basics . Overall the academics are good for students who are serious about their studies.

The placement opportunities at Lucknow university are average and seem to depend a lot on the individual students’s academics performance, skill and participation in different activities . I am currently in my second year , so i have not personally gone through the placement process yet and cannot comment on how easy or supportive the process is , from what i have heard, students with good academic performance and the right skills have better opportunities. The university has a placement cell and companies do visit for recruitment , but students also need to take initiative and actively look for opportunities

The campus life is really good . The campus is very large , so there is always something to explore . It has a slightly old and vintage feel , which makes it nostalgic and charming , especially during winters. The field and overall campus are environment are also good

Overall , Lucknow University provides a good academic environment , especially for students who are willing to take initiative in their studies . However placement opportunities could be better , and students may need to be more proactive in finding and preparing for them.
