The college infrastructure typically includes academic buildings with well-equipped classrooms, spacious lecture halls, and modern laboratories for practical learning. Libraries with a good collection of books, digital resources, and study areas support students' academic needs. Common facilities often feature computer labs with internet access, seminar halls, and auditoriums for events and presentations.
The academic environment of the college offers a balanced mix of theory and practical learning. The curriculum is designed to cover core subjects as well as electives, helping students gain a broad understanding of their field. Experienced faculty members guide students through lectures, tutorials, and projects. Regular assessments like tests, assignments, and presentations help track progress and reinforce learning. The college encourages interactive learning through group discussions, seminars, and workshops. Overall, the academic structure supports students in building strong foundational knowledge and developing critical thinking skills.
The college has a dedicated placement cell that works to connect students with potential employers. Each year, a variety of companies from different sectors visit the campus to recruit fresh talent. Students get opportunities for internships as well as full-time jobs. The placement process usually includes written tests, group discussions, and interviews. While some students secure roles in well-known companies, others may explore opportunities in startups or smaller firms. The overall placement record is decent, and the college also provides training sessions and career guidance to help students prepare better.
The infrastructure of our college is amazing. The college provide all the necessary facilities like seminar hall, auditorium, library, sports and gym area is also there. Also they provide computer labs with high speed network. The classrooms of our campus is well maintained with good wifi connection. The canteen of our college is very good , I love it. Everything is super fantastic here and it also called one the most best for infrastructure and this is the truth. I love my college infrastructure.
The academics of our college is great. I personally like it very much. Like I'm pursuing Bcom hons. and seriously the teachers are very good. They guide and support us everytime. In our lectures they provide us theoretical knowledge as well as practical also. If any doubt regarding any topic then they teach us that topic without saying no to us they help us in every way they could. They provide us all the academics resources for our good study. Overall the academic structure of our college is great.
The placements of our college is one of the best placement cell that we call in comparison of other colleges. Aa I'm in my first year here but I know lot of about the college placements. It provides lot of placement offers to all the students of our college. All the students are eligible to grab that opportunity. There are big companies that offers these placements in our college. Also it provides internship offers evey year with a good stipend to the students. The average package for my course is 10-11 lpa. So in our college there are lot of opportunities for making a good career.
Yes, throughout my first year I experienced a lot here and my experience is wonderful. And what I like most is college societies of our college. Without college societies I can't have fun. Every year lot of fest and events conducted and each event and fest are amazing and enjoyable. In the college I have lot of fun, the crowd of our college is too great. Overall I like this college and if you are choosing this then it's a great choice for your future.
The facilities at SRCC are fairly average. Nothing extraordinarily great, but nothing of the inhospitable sort either. The furniture on campus is fairly old due to the campus being considered a heritage sight. There's plenty of greenery across the three lawns and sports complex here. Hygiene is adequately being taken care of (there were prior issues with the women's restrooms, but they should be resolved by now). The campus also includes a college canteen, an Amul store and a Nescafé store, a cooperative store, gym for national level athletes, computer labs, auditorium, swimming pool, and hostels for boys and girls (although without ACs, personal coolers are recommended). There are some regions that are difficult to access for the physically challenged, but all major facilities should be easily accessible to them as well. The Wi-Fi situation is suboptimal due to the sheer volume of active users.
Academically, the faculty at SRCC is pretty qualified. The teachers here are well informed and are really accommodating for all. There is a bit of disconnect that may be felt across teachers due to the tutorial classes that don't serve the benefits it should be providing.
As can be seen through the publications of the Placement Cell at SRCC, our college has one of the highest undergraduate level packages for both placements and internships. As of 24-25, the highest placement here was 36 LPA, average being 9.8 LPA.
Despite the comparatively higher tuition costs when compared to the other colleges in the DU network, the environment here is able to make for the costs. The people and the opportunities provided are enough to make it value-for-money.
On the bright side, the college consists of 60+ student run societies where students can engage and contribute towards enhancing their college life. However, the campus life available here is not for everyone. There is a certain of toxicity that can be expected by everyone. Apart from this, there is a persisting issue of dogs on campus, which needs to addressed sooner rather than later.
The college infrastructure is good. It is very clean, well-maintained, and organised. There are projectors and audio systems also here. The camous is fully wi-fi enabled. There is hostel facility also in this college but there are limited hostel seats i.e. mostly for outstation students.
My college academics are really good. The faculty are very good and helpful. The teachers are well maintain and highly qualified. Also, supportive environment for research, debate and extra learning. But there is a very competitive environment here and limited flexibility in courses compared to private universities and I'm very thankful for that.
The placements at SRCC is excellent especially for commerce and economics student. There are many big companies like deloitte, KPMG, EY and many more which gives 8-10 LPA. It gibes great exposure. There is very high competition among students for top roles.
My overall experience was excellent and it was totally worth it. Best college for real.
The infrastructure of college is not that bad but not at par with the global standards too. The college building will get 100 years old in 2026 and it has expanded the classrooms based upon the requirement over time. There is no consistency in the classrooms of the college - there are classrooms with just a wooden plank to sit, then classrooms with chairs that have flaps and then computer labs with chairs with wheels. Although, the sports complex is the best among all other colleges.
The faculties are well experienced but at the same time they face issues in adjusting with the new generation. Their method of teaching sometimes becomes pretty boring that makes students come to classes just for the minimum attendance criteria by the University.
I don't have a very great idea about placements, but from what I've heard is that the average package goes around 8-9 LPA and the highest package goes around 35 LPA each year. Also, the trend is generally similar each year there is only a slight change observed. Although, great companies come on campus and provide job roles majorly in finance and consulting.
The ROI is pretty good as the college fees is very less (approximately 30-35k per year). The only major cost that occurs from a student point of view is the living cost to live in Delhi, that is also not included if someone is from Delhi.
Campus Life is pretty decent with events happening every now and then with big celebrities coming on campus. Also, the experience of north campus and the student life in the north campus contributes a lot in the campus life of a SRCC student.
Overall, the college is pretty good. It is one of the best options students have in India in terms of B.Com (Hons.) also in regard with the ROI it offers. Getting admission in SRCC is pretty difficult in itself, so best wishes for you if you make it till here :)
The college has a good enough infrastructure according to Delhi University. There is an auditorium sports complex lawns and classes are also air conditioned .wifi facilities are also there.college also has in house hostel facility available
Academics is top notch in the college . The quality of teaching is really good according to the course curriculum some of he best professors teach here. Although the syallabus is still not that updated and current. But still the extra study here covers up to an extent for that
Placement quality is really good according to an undergraduate college level. More than 70 precent of the students that sit for placement are placed. With highest package going as high as 35 lpa and average around 7-8 lpa atleast.
The value for money is pretty good the college fees is pretty minimal and according to that it's excellent
Campus life is pretty vibrant
SRCC boasts well-maintained infrastructure with fully air-conditioned classrooms, modern lecture halls, a top-tier library, and excellent sports facilities. Wi-Fi is available across campus, and the canteen offers a decent variety of food at reasonable prices.
SRCC is known for its rigorous academic environment, especially in Commerce and Economics. The faculty is experienced, and many professors are authors of reputed academic texts. The curriculum is updated and includes seminars, presentations, and case-based learning.
Placements at SRCC are among the best in the country for commerce students. Top recruiters include McKinsey, Bain, Deloitte, EY, and BCG. The average package ranges between ₹9–10 LPA, with some international offers going much higher.
Given its low fee structure (under ₹40,000 per year), SRCC offers unparalleled ROI. The quality of education, exposure, and placements make it one of the most cost-effective colleges in India.
Campus life is vibrant with over 40 active societies. Fests like Crossroads are hugely popular. Students enjoy a good balance of academics and co-curriculars, although the strict attendance policy can be demanding at times.
The hostel has both mess and a canteen which provides a decent quality of food and snacks. The college has top facilities like Wi-Fi, hostel, classrooms, libraries for the students of different years and labs.
Very good & Experienced faculty members who provides detailed knowledge of the subject & make you aware of all the other matters relating to the subject. They also arrange the industrial visits regularly for getting practical exposure of things we study.
Top companies like Apollo and CK Birla Hospital visit our campus for recruitment. The placements of the college are good as far as I have heard this college provides a plethora of opportunities to students depending upon their interests.
It is very good. The infra provides spacious rooms, clean mess, gardens and lawns to feel the nature, computer labs, sanitized washrooms and staff rooms to consult with the teachers. Overall, the best place to study at.
I am studying B.Com (Hons.) because I had a keen interest in knowing the future business world. The curriculum provides me a platform to build my skills, knowledge and experience in the field of commerce, finance and business management.
The highest placement is 35 Lacs this year, and average goes to 8-10 Lacs. But this does not show the true and fair picture of few students getting a package of 20+ Lacs and few below 7 Lacs. This what creates difference and not 100% placement is provided in the college.
It is definitely worth the money as it is government college and the fees is too less relative to other well-known commerce private colleges, who do not provide this level of academics. The study curriculum and the low fee structure make it the best choice for anyone.
Overall, decent campus life. You have to go through ups and downs along with some cherishing moments in campus with friends and faculties. You explore a lot of new things and adapt to it. For me, it feels home to stay there.
