    Application Process for Part-Time MTech

    The application and admission process for part-time post-grad degrees are different in all colleges. Some colleges conduct their own entrance exams, while others require eligible marks in the bachelor's degree and you can enroll in M Tech as a part-time course. Other than that, GATE is the biggest common entrance exam known for admission in M Tech. Many colleges consider admission based on this exam.     Entrance Exams for Part-Time M.Tech

    Applying for M Tech entrance exams is not at all a tedious process if you are eligible to apply. It is the selection procedure that itself is a little time-consuming. Be it the common entrance exams by the authorities or any other exams conducted by private universities, the procedure will be almost the same.

    Written Exam: A written examination for part-time M Tech is usually of about 2-3 hours and the students have to complete the paper including a combination of MCQs and numerical-based questions. Candidates then can join the college counselling based on these marks.

    GATE: GATE is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for admission to PG programmes in various Indian universities and colleges.
