About Ajeenkya DY Patil University, Pune
Established in 2015, Ajeenkya DY Patil University was founded by the former Governor of Bihar Dr. DY Patil who is also a Padmashree recipient under the Government of Maharashtra Act 2015, The university is commonly known as ADVPU. Ajeenkya DY Patil University has nine schools through which various undergraduate and postgraduate courses namely School of Management, School of Information Technology, School of Design, School of Hotel Management, School of Engineering, School of Film and Media, School of Liberal Arts, School of Law, and DY Patil School of Architecture. Ajeenkya DY Patil University is a state university recognised by the University Grants Commission(UGC). The university has collaborated with various international universities such as Universitatea Stefan cel Mare Suceava, University of South Carolina etc. The university also conducts its own entrance examination known as ACET for offering admission to UG and PG courses.

With 2 large playgrounds a swimming pool various hostels to choose from library with almost all books and medical facilities this university isa city within itself.

The campus is well-equipped and well-maintained. However, the hostels have inadequate spaces to accommodate all new admissions. Even the cafeteria is over crowded most of the time. A little more space would be helpful.
