    The Business Studies major at Bennett University’s School of Liberal Arts offers a dynamic and interdisciplinary approach to understanding the complex realities of the Indian business world. Combining core business principles with insights from the humanities and social sciences, this program equips students with critical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills. With a strong emphasis on problem identification, ethics, innovation, and global perspectives, students gain hands-on experience through case studies, internships, industry interactions, and entrepreneurial initiatives. Graduates are turned future-ready, prepared for diverse career paths in management, entrepreneurship, and consulting, making them adaptable professionals ready to navigate the evolving business landscape with confidence and creativity.

    The Business Studies program is designed to: (i) introduce foundational business concepts and interdisciplinary approaches in the first two semesters; (ii) explore areas such as management, entrepreneurship, and global markets in the following semesters: and (iii) offer specialized courses in business ethics, digital transformation, and strategic leadership in the later years.

    • Theory courses – 3-4 lectures a week depending on course credits, each lasting 55 minutes.
    • Practical learning – Case studies, internships, industry interactions, and entrepreneurial initiatives.

     

    The curriculum is designed to offer a strong academic foundation through Major-Core courses, complemented by Major-Electives for added specialization.


    Eligibility Criteria

    Domestic

    Passed XII standard from any recognised Education Board with minimum 60% marks (Class XII Best of 3 subjects score) and English as compulsory subject OR IB Board with minimum score of 24 credits, 3 Higher level and 3 standard level subjects.

    NRI

    Pass with 55% aggregate marks in grade 12th/ A level or equivalent and English language requirement (ELR)

    Admission Details

    Selection will be based on Class XII Best of 3 subjects score (comprising of English as compulsory subject and any other two subjects with highest score).
