BA Philosophy Hons at Bennett University, Greater Noida Offline Course

The Philosophy Major at the School of Liberal Arts, Bennett University offers students a rigorous, intellectually stimulating environment to explore fundamental questions about existence, knowledge, ethics, and society.  Philosophy explores fundamental questions about existence, knowledge, ethics, and logic. It encourages rigorous reasoning, conceptual analysis, and the development of coherent arguments. The discipline spans areas such as metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, and political philosophy.

The philosophy program is designed to: (i) introduce students to philosophical thought and argumentation in the first two semesters; (ii) develop analytical and ethical reasoning skills through courses in logic, ethics, and existentialism; and (iii) offer electives in applied philosophy, philosophy of science, and Eastern and Western traditions in later semesters.

• Theory courses – 3-4 lectures a week depending on course credits, each lasting 55 minutes.
• Discussion-based seminars – Textual analysis and debate-based learning.

The curriculum is designed to offer a strong academic foundation through Major-Core courses, complemented by Major-Electives for added specialization.
