BA Political Science and International Relations Hons at Bennett University, Greater Noida Offline Course

The Political Science & International Relations major at the School of Liberal Arts, Bennett University, offers an exceptional and transformative educational journey. Political Science & International Relations (IR) is the study of governance, political systems, diplomacy, and global interactions. It provides insight into power structures, public policies, international conflicts, and political ideologies. The discipline equips students with the ability to analyse political developments and global affairs critically.

The program is designed to: (i) introduce key political theories and international relations frameworks in the first two semesters; (ii) explore comparative politics, public policy, and international diplomacy in the following semesters: and (iii) offer specialized courses in global security, human rights, and political economy in the final year.

General Information Students wishing to major, minor, or pursue a concentration in Political Science & IR should develop critical thinking and research skills. Courses will involve qualitative and quantitative analysis of political events and global interactions.

• Theory courses – Two lectures a week, each lasting 1.5 hours.
• Research projects – Analysis of case studies, policy papers, documentary analysis and political trends.
• Fieldwork projects – Political-cultural trips.

The curriculum is designed to offer a strong academic foundation through Major-Core courses, complemented by Major-Electives for added specialization.
