The Psychology major at the School of Liberal Arts, Bennett University offers an exceptional and transformative educational journey, blending interdisciplinary knowledge, global exposure, and a holistic understanding of psychology. Psychology is the science and art of the mind and behaviour. It explores how humans think, feel, and act, encompassing areas such as cognitive processes, emotions, motivation, mental health, and social interactions. Psychology integrates theoretical perspectives with empirical research to understand human development, personality, and psychopathology.

The psychology program is designed to: (i) introduce foundational concepts in psychology, including cognitive, developmental, and social psychology in the first two semesters; (ii) develop research and analytical skills through coursework in research methods, neuropsychology, and psychological testing; and (iii) offer advanced electives in clinical, counselling, and organizational psychology in the later semesters. Experimental work: Lab-based courses involve experimental design, data collection, and psychological assessments.

• Theory courses – 3-4 lectures a week depending on course credits, each lasting 55 minutes.
• Laboratory courses – Practical assessments and data-driven research projects.
