72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Part-time Doctoral program and it is offered by the BS Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
Master’s degree (M.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. (By Research) / M.Sc. / MA) or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the offering Schools / Departments.
(or)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the field of study with a minimum of 10 years of R&D experience in National Research laboratories / Public sector undertakings and with a minimum of three publications in refereed journals / two patents.
