Yes it has all the needed infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The classroom are good enough to accommodate all enrolled students with ventilated rooms, projectors. Everything is well maintained. Hostels are available for everyone and are in good condition. Food quality is good.
I am doing masters in english literature through cafeteria. Cafeteria system is little confusing but you will have the opportunity to choose courses on your own interest. Curriculum is well updated and many new courses are introduced every semester this time we got courses like AI in literary studies.
For English department placements are not that available very few companies visit. But for foreign language department they provide good placements and internships. overall the university placement cell is working hard to help students with good placements and job opportunities.
The infrasture is impressive as it mention in the website, the premise is clean and very effective security. We have a beautiful park and 24/7 working hospital service, and a convenient store that provides essenial things for the daily living.
The faculty for linguistics is more efficient than any other department in Eflu. The dedicated faculty members spend time with the students selflessly and the curriculum is much forward compare to other institute .
Even though specialized courses have no placement , The Foreign language courses provide placements, that benefits lot of students to secure job , hence the placement cell of foreign language is very active department .
The college has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities. We get everything inside our campus there is a medical store, canteen, and Xerox shop. Hostel facilities are provided to everyone and food is good. The campus is very clean and well maintained. Wifi facility is also there.
I am doing BA Italian. My professors are quite okay and highly educated. One of the teachers do give little less grade. But overall it's good. Our curriculum is updated and the course really makes us job ready right after the course. Quality of teaching is good .
The university placements cell is working properly. More than 90% students gets placed Every year in many good companies. The averaged salary is almost 6 to 7 lakhs per annum. Overall you will get good opportunities at the end of the course.
EFLU Hyderabad has all the important infrastructure facilities like a central library, hostels for both boys and girls available. Hostels have all the accomodation like WIFi reading room, geyser in bathroom etc. Living places are clean and food quality is good of hostels.
The professors of English department are very good in teaching and they help us for everything. They are easily approachable. Our curriculum is updated and has all the recent developments in the literature field. Every sem they introduce new courses to enrich us with knowledge.
The university has a working placement cell. Which is very supportive in providing internships and placements to students. The average salary package is between 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. So, it's good almost 70 to 80 percent students get placed every year.
Eflu has a really well built infrastructure. It is compact in the sense that despite of the otherwise smaller campus it has every facility that a student requires. From gym, health care centre, hostel facility to sport grounds and academic blocks, everything is quite well furnished
I have opted for MA English Literature in EFLU to have a good grasp in the field that I so much love. The classes so far have been great. The professor are professionals with so much to give. The curriculum is competent in the sense that it follows all the new regularity in the current education system.
I am a fresher, that makes me have no immediate experience with the placement cell yet. However studying from the angle of our seniors it can be said that the placement cell is actively functioning with people from my university securing jobs at Amazon and other multinational companies
The infrastructure is really good but need some improvement . The library is open 24*7 and also there is a separate reading room for students. Hostels also have their own reading rooms. There is an open amphitheater and a huge sports Complex.
The course I am currently pursuing is Bachelor in education. The quality of teaching is commendable. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the teaching field. We also have 4 months of teaching practice internship which makes us job ready.
Last year we saw some very good schools came for the placement campaign and more than 50 percent of the students got placed at good schools in Hyderabad and also outside of Hyderabad. The package was 50+k per month.
Definitely. The course is value for money.
As we have a very beautiful campus , the life at campus is quite enjoyable.
the college has everything which is required. it has a vast library, language labs, computer room where lots of pcs are there you can do your online assignments easily, The university provides WiFi facilities to both classrooms and hostels. The classrooms have projector which are used during presentation and also in class. The campus is full of greenery and good environment.
I am doing my masters in English. It has many departments like literature in English. MA english cafeteria and others. which allows students to choose different courses on their own choice, The curriculum is updated. And our professors are very good at teaching and very helpful and supportive.
The university provides amazing placements to its students. But foreign language departments has very good placements facilities compared to English. an average salary offered this year was 5 to 6 Lakhs per annum.
It costs only 3000 per month for hostels fee and mess. And course fees is approximately 4000 for 1st semester and 3000 for 2nd and 3rd.
The college is spacious and accomodates multiple hostel buildings, college and administrative buildings, library, canteen, departmental store, appollo pharmacy, and even gym, sports building, and a beauty parlour! Facilities required on daily basis are all available in the campus itself. The mess menu is decided by mess representatives on a weekly basis, and opinions are taken in the hostel whatsapp group. Washrooms are not up to the mark, and wifi faces a lot of issues.
The course taken by me, Comparative Literature, has an amazing department with fascinating and supportive faculty. Personally, the classes are interesting, informative, and pushes you to think. Almost all our examination is in form of assignment, based on research and opinions. The curriculum is very diverse and can change according to the depth discussed in classroom. Our course pushes one to apply multiple perspectives and think outside the box.
Most students, after finishing their degrees, choose to opt for further studies or search for jobs on their own. As far as I know, the college doesn't conduct ample placement programs. There was an online platform inculcated in the placement program which allowed students of a certain course to enroll in the placement process.
Being a government college, the fee structure is affordable and inclusive of various quotas. Fee is paid per semester, and the hostel room fee is calculated per month. Students who have applied for the mess card accumulate their payment of every month, and others can buy coupons for every meal. I think we are getting our money's worth because after considering the fee structure, the facilities are just.
The best part of our college campus is that it doesn't have restrictions on movement of the students. And the worst part is that it doesn't celebrate any cultural festivals, or engage in co-curricular competitions. Even though seminars, sports competitions, and some literary functions are conducted, they require constant persuasion from the student body. Students enjoy the freedom, but that is also used against the students by the staff. There is a lot of politics and red tape bureaucracy.
The university campus has lots of greenery. the buildings are well-maintained and almost new. There is a sports complex maintained by the university where the students can play both sports and indoor games. Jogger's park is available too . Hostels are good and clean.
Classes are mostly lecture based and conducted regularly and students are expected to attend all the classes. Assignments are regularly assigned. The students doing Masters do have a flexibility to a level in choosing their own courses each semester.
Placements are in place for Linguistics and Foreign Langauges department. English students have very less chance of getting a placement from the university. JOurnalist department too does offer placements.
Being a Central Unuversity, the fees here is very low. The monthly rest is also just Rs.225. Mess bill is also not that high too. you get good quality education which far exceeds the amount of fees that you are paying.
Campus life is vibrant. There are students from different parts of the country and you get to know their culture too. Various cultural programs are conducted by the students themselves. As long as you find a balance between studies and enjoyment, you will find the campus to be good.
Though the campus is small compared to other central universities, it has all the facilities and is convenient for the students. The hostels are fairly new and well maintained. Academic buildings are equipped with the latest technical facilities. The central wifi in the university is mostly erratic. However, as the campus is in the city, all major mobile networks are available. Also, the collection of books in the library is mostly limited to language and literature.
For the deeper study of languages, the academic standard is up to the mark. The curriculum for each course is personalized by the professors handling the course in each semester. So, it is mostly up to date and relevant. However, if you are looking to prepare for competitive exams, the topics covered may not benefit you. This is because the syllabus is not similar to the ones followed in most other universities.
There is a functional placement cell in the campus that provides internship opportunities and invites companies. However, this is limited to certain courses only. There is scope for improvement in the way in which the placement cell communicates with the students.
Hello aspirant
Rules and regulations are strictly follwed in girls hostel. You are not allowed to go out but if your parents visit your city or if they have come to meet you and staying in hotel then you will be allowed to stay with them for Saturday and Sunday. You can go out with them. I know about bits Goa. There is huge campus mess is in another building , food and meals are provided with time table if you get late you will be going to miss the meal and canteen is open whole day for that you have to pay extra .
