I really liked the college infrastructure as it is a small campus easily accessible all the department from hostel. There is wifi, Library gym separate for both boys and girls. Sports complex is there with badminton and basketball court and table tennis also.
The bed department is very hectic though it is very good and the teachers are very regular and punctual. They expect you to be professional as a teacher. The curriculum is mostly practical based not theory Oriented.
The placements are very good but I have not received yet as in just in first year. Our seniors got placed in many reputed institution with 35 to 40k salaries with accomodation facility. The internship phase is little hard as you have to go early in the morning to school .
The EFLU has good infrastructure, there is gym facility for girls and boys separately. The hostel is good but there is less rooms and sometimes we have to struggle to get a good room. The food is good and hygienic. The campus is small and convenient to go to class and library from hostel. The rooms have water leakage problem.
I have finished my masters in english literature and the teachers were okay but some are very lazy and don't take regular classes. The curriculum is updated though it includes recent topics also like artificial intelligence.
The placements is very good at the college. Many reputed private schools and companies like Amazon comes. The average salary ranges from 3 to 4 lacks per annum. The process is very pleasant and college is supportive.
English and Foreign languages university Hyderabad campus is quite small but you will get all the necessary facilities, infrastructure, wifi, sports complex which contains badminton and basketball courts. They are all used and well maintained. Washrooms issues are there in the hostels and water leakage otherwise food, lights no problem is there.
I have completed my Bed course and the department is very good among all other as it works timely and conducts regular classes and gives many projects, assignments and all. there is a yearly exhibition happens where students create many creative things and invites other schools to visit and explore many things related to study and crafts.
Eflu hyderabad provides good placements at the campus. We received many reputed international schools invitation to join their school though the recruitment will include short exam followed by interview which was quite smooth and pleasant experience.
First of all the academic infrastructure lacks proper regulation and maintenance. There should be adequate availability and more utilisation of the resources like the labs and halls. The EMRC studio infrastructure issue is just being fixed but no guarantee of how much the students will get the chance to apply that. Secondly, the residential infrastructure is not maintained properly. The hostels have various issues like water and electricity. The wifi system is totally not functional at a point of time.
The faculties and departments are nice. The course structure of some courses are really commendable, specially for BA and MA English and MA linguistics. But supervision must be stricter and the system of examinations should be flexible. The Controler of Examinations is awfully acting upon the students.
It has placement cells and there is meeting happening to discuss that. Foreign Languages have good scope but other campussing opportunities are very vague and Some departments fail to provide placements though.
The EFLU hyderabad campus has all the required facilities, infrastructure, and equipment. The hostel has 24 hours wifi, and filtered drinking water cold and normal both available. Girls hostel food I really like it, especially the breakfast. We have a indoor sports stadium where we play badminton, basketball. There is gym also for Indian and international students.
If you're planning to do MA linguistic you have to involve fully in the course as the classes will be happening very regularly and you will have lots of assignments. The teachers are very good compared to other departments. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments.
Placements cell is working properly we received placements offer from different reputed schools and the pay was around 35 to 40k per month. Many students went for it but I didn't want to join private institutions or companies so I skipped. The placements process was pleasant tho.
Efl university has almost everything like gyms both for girls and boys separate, hostels, indoor sports complex which has badminton, basketball courts. The best thing is hostel food especially girls hostel is really good which is very rare to find in any central or private university. The hostel and classrooms have 24 hours wifi facility but the quality is not good sometimes it does not work at all. All of these are well maintained. and the advantage is the college is very small so everything is reachable in less time.
I am doing my Phd in english literature under a ma'am who is so kind and sweet, very supportive. Speaking of other departments mostly okay except few. Some departments like comparative, media are very good. we have many conferences both national and international.
the quality of placements at the campus is really good. As i am in my phd i have not got any such opportunity but courses like MA BA have very good opening. People gets selected to amazon like companies getting 6 to 7 lakhs per annum.
very less as compared to the facilities provided
It's average at best. Because of its old design and build it feels like a school, and it's tinier. The library has a great collection of books, most of which are eating dust to the point their binding blows off now. It can be improved so much.
Coursework is very heavy, profs and teaching methods are definitely not great and need a lot of work. It can be very stressful at times and there is no support system which means a lot of students drop out of their courses. Also there is a lot of academic targeting.
Depends on your luck, placement cell only exists on paper, amazon only comes for campus recruitment because most of them have passed from this uni and the profs call them. Do not expect placement via college.
It's good enough for 3-4k for a semester. However there is no point of it being a research university given the lack of facilities.
Unless you can fit in with groups, you don't have a life because all people do here is politics and there are no clubs. Sports groups are mostly dominated by regional groups, every creative club is basically a sort of a cult and if you disagree with one person you will not be allowed to participate in club activities anymore.
Very shitty experience. Academic targeting because I cannot suck up to professors, to the point I had a P in one paper and an A in another in the same semester.
EFLU has the basic infrastructure needed for a good student life. Our classrooms are equipped with projectors and some smart boards, and the library is a peaceful place with plenty of books and digital resources. The computer labs are helpful, though they can get crowded during busy times. Wi-Fi is available, but it’s not always reliable. I stay in the hostel, and while the rooms are simple, they’re livable. Cleanliness depends a lot on the block and the people living there. Bathrooms are okay, but not always spotless. The mess food is decent—nothing fancy, but it’s usually hygienic. Some of us prefer to eat outside now and then for a change. Overall, EFLU may not be perfect, but it has everything I need to learn, grow, and live comfortably as a student.
I’m currently studying English because I’ve always loved reading, writing, and understanding how language shapes thought and culture. I chose this course to deepen that passion and hopefully build a career in writing, teaching, or media. The quality of teaching at EFLU is quite good. Most professors are knowledgeable, engaging, and open to discussions. They encourage us to think critically and not just stick to textbooks. Our curriculum covers both classic and contemporary topics, but I do feel some areas—like digital media, creative writing, or newer literary theories—could be explored more deeply. Still, what we learn helps build strong analytical and communication skills, which are useful in many career paths. While it doesn’t train you for one specific job, it definitely prepares you to adapt and learn further.
I am still in my second year, do I don't know much about it. But my seniors have got really nice placements through my college.highest salary ranges up to 3.24 L. It's according to the course the student had studied in and the procedure is smooth too.
College infrastructure is actually good. We have amphitheatre, sports complex, and Digital aids in our campus. But certain times we face problems related to the digital aids, it takes time to repair and campus does not have a good ground.
I have to say it is out standing. I am doing MA. We have such great faculties. They expect and demand progress and they try to impart knowledge from us in a good way. Academically, I am satisfied with my college.
I don't know much about the placement there. But my seniors are working in great companies and they have pretty good jobs. The things is our faculties do encourages us to improve our portfolio, so I guess placement is also very satisfactory.
The thing is we have to NPTEL course for 8 credits. This is pretty expensive with our course fee. I know this is not College's problem. But I find it difficult to pay for the NPTEL course sometimes. So yeah I would say average. But I know the money I am paying is worth.
Really great. I have got connections from different parts of the country and even a few foreigners. Conduct cultural and sports events. Fun to be there. Free cycle, good friends, safe campus. I am totally happy with the campus life.
Academic buildings are pretty great, and they aren't too far spaces apart as well. It's good. But the hostel infrastructure is a little cramped up. Another hostel for girls would facilitate for ease of access.
Academics is pretty good. Exams and conducted well, with worthwhile exam content and patterns. Also because college is a whole lot of studying on your own, sometimes the professor's help isn't deemed important to them, but it is important to us.
So far from what I have heard from my seniors, placements are going well. People in B.ed, MA, and PhD have been approached by professionals from various fields during the March-April-May months to conduct interviews and placements.
The freedom and responsibilities of being an adult is exercised here so it's pretty great!
Hello aspirant
Rules and regulations are strictly follwed in girls hostel. You are not allowed to go out but if your parents visit your city or if they have come to meet you and staying in hotel then you will be allowed to stay with them for Saturday and Sunday. You can go out with them. I know about bits Goa. There is huge campus mess is in another building , food and meals are provided with time table if you get late you will be going to miss the meal and canteen is open whole day for that you have to pay extra . On sundays you will be given special menu like pizza or food of your choice . No outside food is allowed.
In the first year you will share room with your roommate and from second year you will have separate room.
