24 MonthsThe curriculum will transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries and be dynamic and responsive in incorporating the latest developments. Course work consists of a blend of core and elective courses.

- The duration of the program is 2 years and maximum time to complete is 4 Semesters.
- In the first year, students are exposed to the advanced concepts in the discipline of the specialisation along with interdisciplinary courses.
- By the end of the first year, students choose a topic and identify an advisor for their dissertation that they are expected to work on in the second year.
- In the summer of the first year, students will have to mandatorily complete an industry/research internship.
- Students spend the 4th semester year pursuing a significant research project and submit the dissertation/project to partially fulfil the requirements of the program.
- Dissertation/Project is mandatory.
- A minimum of 76 credits has to be earned to be eligible for the degree.
- After successful completion of the program requirements, the student will be awarded a MSc in Economics.
Eligibility Criteria
The minimum eligibility to apply to FLAME University’s Master of Science in Economics program is the following:
- Applicant should have an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree (B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com/ B.B.A./ B.Stat./ B.Math./ B.Tech/ B.E. or equivalent) with at least an overall “B” grade or 55%. Candidates in their final year of bachelor’s degree program can also apply, provided they can produce the final year degree certificate / mark sheet before 30th September 2023. Admission of such a candidate shall be strictly provisional till he/she submits a valid proof of passing the Bachelor’s degree examination with required percentage of marks before the prescribed last date, failing which the admission shall automatically stand withdrawn without any further notice.
Admission Details
PG FEAT (FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test) is an online examination conducted by FLAME University for admission to its MSc in Economics program.
If students have International/National Level entrance test scores (GRE/JAM(Economics)) then PG FEAT is optional. However, if the applicant feels that the GRE/JAM entrance exam score does not fully reflect his/her academic credentials or potential he/she may opt for PG FEAT.
PG FEAT is an online examination (MCQ based) divided in 2 sections with 120 minutes duration:
Selection and declaration of result -
FLAME University shall evaluate your candidature based on different selection criteria. The admission results would be announced on the application portal as per the admission schedule. If you are selected, you will receive a copy of your offer letter by email.
