The infrastructure of Flame is good. The campus is fancy and built beautifully. But the washrooms of the 2nd building are not very well maintained. However, classrooms are well maintained, and also there are good facilities of food and library. Medical facilities are available and in good condition. There are yoga and many sports like badminton, basketball, etc., and even horse riding.
Faculty members of Flame are highly qualified and also polite. Our teachers helped us many times and were really generous. Our course curriculum was also good. We had many practical classes of computers and theory presentations in the class to build confidence.
I did B.A (Hons) in economics from Flame University. There were merely 19-20 students in our class. Our university had good placement offers as it offered a salary package of around 2.5 LPA-3 LPA. Infosys, TCS, Wipro and Guardian are a few of the companies which visit here for placements.
Infrastructure of Flame is the best. I don't think any other college provides their students with this kind of infrastructure. It provides everything from an amazing library to swimming pool and gym. You'll surely fall in love with the campus of Flame. Apart from this, there is a whole block for foodies with subway, Bikano, Cafe coffee Day, Dosa Plaza etc. And of course a mess.
The faculty of economics department are very helpful and cooperative. Different aids like PPT are used by the teachers to make learning interesting. Industrial visits are also organized to have some industry exposure. Teachers are well qualified. The provided course curriculum proved quite useful during post graduation.
The placements for economics are quite good. Some students were even placed with a handsome salary. Students were majorly given the role of an analyst. Reputed companies like Quality Council of India, American Express recruited the students of our batch.
The infrastructure of our college is world class. Classrooms are spacious. Many auditoriums are available. Flame University is only known for its infrastructure. The campus is spread over a huge area and has a large sports ground. Mess, Subway and Dosa Plaza, Franchisees, etc., food courts are available.
The faculty in our college are not much great. The credit system is followed. We have studied a lot of things irrelevant to the course. Studying subjects like public administration, behavioural sciences, etc., in the course of economics honours was useless. The college should have provided better subjects which would make people employable.
The major roles offered were underwriting and sales. The biggest recruiter was Quality Council of India. The college claims for 100% placements, but that is not true. The management makes the unplaced students to sign on a paper saying that they don't opt for placements. They only give the letter of recommendation if students take a back step from the placement process.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, the current mode of studying is online. Since we could not be on campus, a virtual tour was arranged for all of us to get to know the campus. The university has one of the biggest libraries, and it is stocked with books from various fields. Sports centres, auditoriums and lecture halls are one of a kind.
Faculty members in our college are the best in their areas as they are from the best universities. They are knowledgeable in their subject areas and very approachable. If students do not understand a concept, they simplify it to the core and take a different approach in explaining the concept. Based on our choice of majors and minors, we have a plethora of subjects to choose from. Courses are very in-depth and have theoretical as well as practical elements.
Placements provided by our university are top-notch, in spite of the ongoing pandemic. Organisations that are a part of the placement process are at the top in their respective industries. The main focus is to mould the students as industry-ready professionals. I have improved my communication skills and presentation skills, which shaped me into a competitive individual ready to progress in my professional life ahead. Companies like Finolex and Wipro recruited students in the final placements.
The crowd at FLAME is very passionate about their fields of interest and are seeking more than just academics. Liberal courses like psychology, sociology and foreign languages like Spanish, etc., help in our overall development beyond academia. Guest lectures, cultural activities and similar events have connected us well with the juniors and seniors.
The infrastructure and facilities in our college are good. It has everything in it. It provides a canteen, restaurant, mess and a wide parking area. It provides bus facilities. In leisure time, students can go to the arcades and enjoy their time. There is a gigantic library on the campus that will give you the feeling of five stars. It contains a lot of study material and other study stuff.
Faculty members in our college are very helpful and knowledgeable. They provide every information regarding the subject that they are teaching, which is further helpful in the fieldwork. Semester exams are not as tough as it is set by faculty, so there is no worry.
Good companies like Wipro, Amazon and Genpact visit our college to hire students with a good salary package. It also provides an internship opportunity in many fields, and it is totally up to the students whether they want to do it or not. Many students got placed from our batch with a good salary.
The infrastructure is the only thing that Flame has. Canteens are more than valuables lectures here. I would give 9 out of 10 for this college in terms of infrastructure. Cleanliness is really good here, but in some blocks like A, B, C and D, the infrastructure is not much great.
They have the worst faculty members I ever saw and mentored by them. They are not clear about concepts, so what they will teach us. Many times they taught wrong concepts, even diagrams and its explanation. After studying from these faculty members, I felt that I had wasted my three years with a lot of money.
The college doesn't care for any placements, and there are no 100% placements here. The college provided an option to choose between a letter of recommendation and placements. Because of this, almost 90% of the students opted for LOR, so they don't need anything for placements. I also chose LOR because of which I never got a chance to attend for a single interview.
One of the reasons I took admission in FLAME over the other colleges was because of its infrastructure. It is a truly well-built college with all possible campus amenities for the staff and students as well. The library, the sports complex, the hostel, these are some things that I'm eagerly waiting to SEE. Due to the pandemic, things have been online for over a year but I'm sure it will be worth it once the campus starts offline.
The faculty at FLAME and especially at the communications management programme make sure that they interact with each and every student. The Communications batch is a small group of motivated students and thus it provides us a very personal level connection with the professors. They have always been a call away for any sort of academic or personal issue. Many of them are industry experts with a lot of field experience. The exams at FLAME are not always in the test format.
The placement process at FLAME brings in a lot many opportunities for the students. Many top organizations like Finolex, Wipro, BirlaSoft, Mercedes, PurePlay Skin Sciences were among the top recruiters from last year. Despite the pandemic, the committee and the faculty put in all possible efforts to help students with the placements in their desired roles and companies. Even for the internships, many companies like Jio Creative labs, NeedleI, Outlook, recruited students for various professors.
FLAME offered me a 100% academic scholarship, which included only paying the amount for hostel and mess fee. The ROI was pretty solid. The only condition was that I had to maintain a GPA of 7.5 per term. This was a motivating factor for me and it made me score really well overall. Apart from this, FLAME offers a liberal curriculum which is one of its kind in the country. It constantly organizes workshops and seminars for the students and also offers subjects like French, German, Spanish, Dance.
The FLAME's infrastructure is among the best in India. It is situated in a lush green valley in Lavale, Pune, and provides students with first-class amenities. It is one of the most beautiful campuses in India, with everything a student needs, from hi-tech classrooms to a golf course. The classrooms for each course are different, and each classroom is equipped with hi-tech facilities, allowing faculty to teach the course online and, if necessary, go live from the classroom itself.
FLAME's faculty is among the greatest in the field of education. All of the professors are graduates of top institutions like IIT, IIIM, MICA, and others. All of the deans and assistant deans have PhDs, which is one of the reason why education at FLAME is so high-quality. The course is well-designed, with liberal courses added to it in each semester, which not only helps students gain general knowledge but also helps in real-life situations once they complete their MBA.
FLAME has strong placements. The university has a good track record. Although I am currently pursuing my degree, our senior class of 2020 has all been placed in leading organizations. Some prominent companies that have visited for recruitment include Birlasoft, Mercedes Benz, Finolex, Byju's amongst others. The placement cell and placement committee create a two-year strategy to assist all students with their placements.
The strictness of the hostel of FLAME University is well known. The big campus is fully Wi-Fi equipped. The labs are big and the college is broken down in blocks and further in department meets. The campus is very big and the crowd is also good. No outside students allowed and bio-metric is done.
Faculty is super hard working and is best in the every way possible. They help with the studies and as well as the problems of life of a student. It's a perfect place to find a mentor that will help you through every thing. Strict rules and regulations are followed.
The placements in FLAME are the best, it's actually better than few of the colleges of DU. The college provides the students with perfect opportunities of placements. The placements record is mostly 100%. The big companies like Amazon and Google comes to fetch the new blood.
The infrastructure of the college is incredible. All facilities are available from arcadia play zone to persona gym, yoga, swimming pool, etc. The college is accredited with an A+ grade for its infrastructure. There is great cleanliness regarding hostels. There is a great cafeteria including CCD and Domino's outlet. Functions are regularly conducted. There are air-conditioned rooms. There are sockets in every desk in the classrooms. Lifts are available here. There is a huge walking space.
The course curriculum provided is a bit unnecessary. We have to deal with 11-12 subjects every semester, including, English, FBL, behavioural science kind of subjects which a burden to us. The focus should be more on to the core subjects. Faculty members are moody. The quality of teaching depends on their mood. Some are partial as well, while others are decent and good. So it totally depends on the person. Overall we deal with it anyhow.
QCI visited our university for offering placements to B.A. and M.A. students. Almost 10% of the students were placed. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Other companies like Deloitte, etc., visit our campus for placements. I can't give details regarding placements as I am not that interested in placements. So never really looked into it.
Hi,
FLAME University’s MBA is rooted in liberal education.
