24 MonthsMA in English, a four-semester Programme, is designed with a view to fulfil the needs of a good blend of literature and language. The pertinent and emerging areas of both have been incorporated in the syllabus to enhance the scope for employment and education.
The Programme develops advanced skills in critical reading, writing, and thinking as well as in scholarly research. In order to meet the career needs of students, the Programme offers internship and in-house teachers’ training. It aims to provide a wide range of career opportunities in teaching, research, media and other professions such as machine- translation, natural language processing, translator, proof-reader, content writer etc.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must have passed 3 years' Bachelor's Degree in any stream with English as one of the subjects with 50% Marks from any recognized university.
Admission Details
Admission on the basis of performance in GLAET (An online MCQ test of 60 minutes).
