Gujarat University Facilities

Gujarat University Ahmedabad offers various facilities to its students and staff for their holistic development. College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is outstanding it havr greenery and many gardens for siting . And there is wifi with good network speed . Also a good canteen food quality is also good . Overall after entering in college feels so good because of environment.

I am appearing for an entrance exam of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism at Gujarat University. Can someone share more on the Exam Patterns Subjects or share some old paper? in the email it says it's a 2 hour exams with descriptive as well as MCQs but nothing on subjects,

You’re right, the email only mentions 2 hours, MCQs + descriptive. Generally, for Journalism entrance exams, the subjects covered are:

Current Affairs & General Knowledge (especially related to media/news).
English Language (grammar, comprehension, essay writing).
Media & Communication Aptitude (basics of journalism, advertising, public relations).
Reasoning/Logical Ability (basic aptitude questions).
Descriptive part usually has essay writing, précis writing, or short answers on media-related topics.

If you have graduated with your degree and post-graduate degree from Gujarat University as of 2012, and you are looking to earn dual degrees now, this will be dependent on what type of dual degree you are wanting to earn. Per the UGC guidelines:

Dual Degrees are permissible, but then they may be done either simultaneously (per UGC 2022) or separately after the conclusion of each.
Since you graduated previously, you cannot backdate or merge the time period of a dual degree into one year.
You can pursue another UG or PG separately either via Distance/online (deemed universities as recognized by UGC-DEB), or regular (provided you meet and qualify for admissions).

One-year completion: Some private colleges offer "one-year degrees," but these degrees are not formally recognized by the UGC and may not be legally valid at all. We recommend that you do not pursue such degrees if you are looking for your degree to have formal status.
