NLU Shimla CLAT Cutoff 2024

On May 28, 2024, the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) released the fifth round of the HPNLU Shimla CLAT cutoff 2024. The CLAT merit list, which is available on the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in, contains the CLAT cutoff 2024 for the fifth session of CLAT counselling. It should be noted that the CLAT Committee released the NLU Assam cutoff 2024 separately for each category including General, SC, ST and other special groups of the society.

College Infrastructure

As himachal pradesh national law university is in its initial phase so the infrastructure is not so good but the library is in its best condition and internet is provided to both college and hostels and there are also the smart classrooms. The food is also hygienic.

You haven't mentioned whether your query us regarding UG or PG course. As per the information available in your profile we consider that you are seeking admission in to UG course. The cut off in 2019 in round 3 for general category was as follows

NLU, Guwahati:1471
NLU, Shimla:1299

Looking at the cut off it is very difficult to get seat in these NLUs considering your rank. However, cut off is subjected to change depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of the exam and number of seats available for admission etc.

I have sociology(hons) in miranda house (1st year). i also gave clat this year, got a seat in nlu shimla in the 1st round. will opt for revise option but what would be better? continuing in miranda house or leaving it for nlu?

Hello, i can sense your confusion and worry as you obviously don't want want to make a rushed decision and regret it later. No one else but only you can take this decision for yourself. You should make a career plan for yourself and decide. Evaluate your career options, what prospects do you have after your graduation, and then compare it to what your position will be if your pursue your law degree now . If you really want to be a lawyer, you should go for the NLU option as then our Sociology degree won't really matter much academically

you also have the option to complete your graduation now, and then give the DU LLB entrance or even CLAT again.

I secured 91.5 marks in clat 2019 can i get nlu shimla or jabalpur in gen category

With the score you're mentioning you'll get a rank somewhere near 10000-15000. So in general category you can definitely expect NLUs Shimla and Jabalpur. In general category they require a rank below 10000 in general category and also they have some seats reserved for the people belonging from the respective states so if you belong to those states you can definitely expect or else it would be a little difficult. But don't loose hope since you've a decent score.
