Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program offered at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Guwahati.
The programme is designed to create innovators and researchers. Students are given a strong foundation in CSE that includes electronics and hardware. The B.Tech (CSE) program at IIIT-Guwahati starts with computing oriented courses first, and allows the possibility of doing science courses later. Besides being better suited for an IT program, it also enables the possibility of students seeing newer applications and possibilities of relating IT with these subjects.

Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or any other examination.

Admission Details

Admission to the B.Tech programme in any year will be based as per orders from the Government of India. Currently, there are based on performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and HSC examinations as per Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) guidelines through counseling conducted by the CSAB for the respective year.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the classrooms and department is very good. Modern classrooms and lecture halls equipped with projectors and quality seating are available. The whole academic building has central AC and proper ventilation . The library is a little small being a new institute but it is definitely going to improve. Hostel infrastructure is very good.

College Infrastructure

Every hostel has gym, pool table,table tennis table,carrom,fusball,airhockey,music room,library,grounds for cricket footbal, volleyball. And also each and every type of sprot and equipments are available for whole campus particularly.

Great college with main focus on academics.

College Infrastructure

Yes the college campus is equipped with all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. Classrooms are well maintained and are well designer for modern teaching techniques. Wifi facility is okay. College campus and hostels are very clean and hygienic and the food is okay too.
