48 Months- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program offered at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Guwahati.
- The programme is designed to create innovators and researchers. ECE courses like electronics, signals & systems, communications, VLSI, and embedded systems are introduced in the early semesters. Students also take a number of CSE oriented courses: Programming, Data Structures, Operating Systems, Networks. The main objectives of the B. Tech(ECE) program are to produce students who are well prepared for Indian industry with necessary core competency to succeed long-term in engineering/entrepreneurship careers (post B. Tech), and who are well prepared to undertake PG studies and research careers.

Eligibility Criteria
Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.
Admission Details
Admission to the B.Tech programme in any year will be based as per orders from the Government of India. Currently, there are based on performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and HSC examinations as per Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) guidelines through counseling conducted by the CSAB for the respective year.

College Infrastructure
This College have well furnished classrooms with ac facilities in labs. Have a clean and silent library. Big building with sports area. Hostel is there . This College is situated far from the city. Mess food is not so good of this college

Campus provides a world class infrastructure with all the necessary facilities and equipment. Campus is spread in 67 acres. College has a awesome library and laboratories are well maintained. Living spaces are clean and good.
