Indian Institute of Management Rohtak is a premier institute of management education in India. The Doctoral Programme in Management (DPM) of the Indian Institute of Management Rohtak is a full-time doctoral programme offered in various disciplines. The programme aims at:

1. Developing high-quality researchers and teachers for academic institutions in India and abroad.

2. Producing top-quality management experts and thinkers for business organizations, government, and society in India and abroad.

Areas of Specialization: The DPM will be offered in the following broad Areas:

• Economics& Public Policy

• Finance & Accounting

• Human Resources Management and Organizational Behaviour

• Management Information Systems

• Marketing & Strategic Management

• Operations Management & Quantitative Techniques

The programme duration is four years. The participants are given a monthly Fellowship, waiver of tuition fees, contingency grant to attend international/national conferences and support for research visits to global partner institutions.

IIM Rohtak aims at excelling in interdisciplinary research globally and is deeply committed to foster fundamental, applied, and policy-oriented research. It is open to work with partners from academia, industry and government in fulfilling its goal of excellence. The Institute is strategically located in the National Capital Region and has proximity to the industrial clusters and the seats of policymakers. Doctoral Programme in Management (DPM)) at IIM Rohtak strives to incorporate the strengths of similar programmes in other IIMs and other major institutions and has included specific innovative features as per the emerging needs. The DPM programme is in line with the vision of the institute to be a global leader in the creation and dissemination of knowledge in management and to be India’s future global learning center like the ancient Nalanda was.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should have at least one of the following qualifications:

Post-Graduate degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA;
Bachelor degree with at least 55% marks and Qualifications of CA, ICWA or CS.
Bachelor degree with at least 55% marks and Qualifications of LLB degree.
MBBS degree holders with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA + 12 months experience.
4-years/ 8 Semesters Bachelor’s degree, with at least 6.5 CGPA or equivalent marks + 12 months experience
Five years Integrated Master’s Degree program in any discipline, with at least 55% marks

Admission Details

A candidate should have a valid test score not older than two years from the closing date of application in any of the following tests: CAT conducted by IIMs (For all areas)

GMAT
GRE
GATE
UGC/JRF (other JRFs will not be considered)
PGDM of IIMs

The candidates should have obtained the qualifying degree or diploma, not more than five years ago (For all areas)

* Non-Resident Indians, persons of Indian origin and other foreign citizens should have a valid GMAT/GRE score of not older than two years from the closing date of application.

College Infrastructure

The college campus is huge and beautiful with lush green surroundings. The library is big with 2 floors and huge study space with glass walls. The other facilities include well-designed classrooms, a student activity center, basketball and badminton courts, twin-sharing hostel rooms, ACs, washing machines, and mess food.

Excellent infrastructure with main focus on academics

College Infrastructure

The institute has a well structured infrastructure. Everything is well designed- classrooms, Library, amphi-theatre, Student activity center. The hostel has all the facilities- Twin sharing rooms, ACs, Washing machine, Water cooler etc.
