You should not avoid biology questions as they help you in getting better rank. Avoiding a whole section is not going to help you in any way even if you are doing all the questions of other sections you will statistically fall behind. Try to answer atleast few questions correctly

The number of questions in aiims are 60 each from bio, chem n phy nd 20 from aptitude. And duration of exam is 3hr 30mins.

In order to get chances of admission through IISER Aptitude test, you should have marks above cut-offs defined for different boards. In IISERs, for CBSE Board the cut-off is 431, 420, 401, 385, 385 out of 500 for Gen, OBC, SC, ST, PwD categories.

No you cant. If you dont want to take admission through the Aptitude test then appear for JEE Advanced or KVPY.

But for getting admissions you will compulsorily have to appear for atleast the tests that IISER accepts.

Indian institute of science Education and research ( IISER) entrance exam is for candidates who want admission in 5 year BS-MS degree programme. 

Entrance exam will be conducted in offline mode. Syllabus of the exam is a as follows:
